From the moment I walked in here I felt out of place. Firstly, Im not a golfer, but they have a sign advertised outside for 5 bucks on Thursdays gets you a burger and fries. When I looked at the menu online, the burger choices actually looked good. I called up ahead of time and spoke to the chef who was Spanish and rude. I told him Id come in because he said you had the pick the toppings for your burger yourself because its at a bar. I thought the idea of a burger bar was great, but to be honest, this was about the only good part of the journey. There were a lot of toppings at the burger bar to choose from, you could literally make your burger 100 different ways, but I totally see why, because the burgers are crap. They need to be dressed up as much as possible, and they still taste horrible. My only complaint about the toppings bar is there is not lighting, so I couldnt even see half the stuff. The cole slaw was pretty good, I could tell it was home made. The red onions were pretty bitter, I prefer a sweet onion on a burger. There were many different cheeses to choose from, including a liquid nacho cheese sauce. Onto the burger though. Firstly, the fries were pretty tasty. Crispy, deep fried of course, but not too heavily, lightly salted, and hot. The burger was one of the worst burgers Ive ever had. When it came out, it looked great, it looked really juicy, grill marks, looked pretty big, I would say like a 6 or 7 oz burger. Not sure the grade of meat, but if I had to guess, Id say probably based with ground sirloin. It wasnt fatty at all, very lean, which if youre a health nut, that would be fine, but when I eat a burger out, I except a juicy, fatty burger. Thats not what this was. Lean, lean, lean, and dry. Although it looked juicy on the outside, the inside was another story. Everything looks juicy when its fresh off the grill. The burger was cooked well, I didnt ask for any type of cook, they do them all at medium I think. It was slightly pink inside, and cooked thoroughly. My guess at why they could do 5 dollar burgers. They have an overstock of these frozen burgers that never sold, because they are so bad. For a promotional day "5 dollar burger Thursdays", I was the only person in there having a burger, at dinner time. In fact, I was the only person in there ordering food. There was a group of older gentlemen at the bar, who were staring at me like I was a celebrity. The bartender was looking at me like I was a martian. The waiter who assisted me was polite and gave me a tour of the burger bar, he was very knowledgeable and respectful. While there was a waitress who looked like she had nothing to do except walk around me and push in chairs, and then go and talk to another man, perhaps a cook, while outside of the bar, and starring at me, as if I were not supposed to be there. Well.. you succeeded, because I wont be coming back. With the exception of the waiter who served me.. the entire staff there was rude and unprofessional. If its not them, its the horrible food thats keeping customers from returning. Learn how to treat your guests, and then maybe youll be successful. I have a lot of friends, one of which I was texting asking if he wanted to meet me there. Good thing he didnt reply, because I would have been embarrassed taking him to such a crappy place. Ive lived in Wesley Chapel since long before this place ever existed, or most restaurants here. In the early 90s when we moved here there was Cracker Barrel, and ABC Pizza, a place called Peacocks, and a couple fast food joints. That was about it. I have tried the majority of what this city has to offer in cuisine, and there really isnt much good. Quail Hollows restaurant though is down at the bottom of the list.

This place has HUGE potential but just cant seem to understand the definition of service. After having a graduation party for a small group there about a year ago, and having horrible service for what should have been an easy group, we decided to book my daughters Sweet Sixteen party there because its close, we live in Wesley Chapel, and at night we love the pool, lights and cabana setting. After booking and finalizing the details over month in advance, we arrived on Saturday afternoon to decorate, and the place was a wreck. Granted it had been raining but there was dirt and debris all over the cabanas that apparently had been there for sometime. The tables had not been arranged as we had discussed, and when we asked, it was as if we were causing a problem...even though we had requested well in advance. After requesting the cabanas to be cleaned up for a third time, Carly, the event sales person, who just got back from vacation that morning and apparently had forgotten everything we agreed on, came out and literally scolded me and essentially told me to wait and around two hours prior there would be staff in to clean. We had arranged in advance to have freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs early, and Joe, the GM, came out and advised me there would be an extra charge? again discussed and arranged for this in advance. After the buffet was set up, I realized we had chips and potato salad, and per there BEO for our event, we were to have fruit salad and potato chips, instead of potato salad and potato chips. I asked and apparently nobody there had a copy of the document THEY PREPARED AND SENT TO ME? I produced it to the Service Director and it appeared that it was the first time he had seen it? I can go on about having to figure out the lighting system on the stage on my own etc etc but bottom line is, if you book an event here, be prepared to serve yourself while the clueless management staff stands around and watches.

If you are learning to play or new, I would highly recommend staying away from here. Not only was my group approached and singled out, but we were addressed in a condescending manner by the manager Millian. You should never start off a response when someone tells you they are learning to golf with, " that is the problem". Upon entering the Pro shop you have no rules posted that you were quoting. No jeans, must have own clubs, ect.... Your only argument was golf etiquette which someone like myself would know nothing about. Also you should never cuss at a customer. I know we were on hole 9 with no one outside of you listening, but that is extremely unprofessional. You also refused to issue a refund when we stated you ruined our experience. I know I will never be back, and I will try to talk other Veterans of going here due to how we were treated, and your unprofessional manner. If you a the management there, then I feel sorry for the other customers, and employees. If you are going to try to enforce rules, you should post them in the Pro Shop. Also my question to the facility is, why would you let us pay for 18 holes dressed as in, and not tell us the expectations or furthermore allow us to pay since we were not following "golf ettiqutte" as you were saying? The facility should have politely let us know were would not be allowed onto the course due to lack of clubs and attire. Now I am out $60 because I paid the fees, bought balls, and alcohol while on the course. Which by the way I was not asked for any type of identification to prove my age because unfortunately I look young and get carded all them time.
