This place was pure and utter crap. I was visiting friends in Tampa over the weekend and looking forward to a good time out. My friend took me to DRYNKS and I will say that I would never enter this establishment again. We went with the intention of getting drunk and having a great time but that did NOT happen. We got there and ordered shots to start off the night. We started to dance and I had to use the bathroom. I was on my way to the restroom and apparently I offended some vertically challenged fool with a cap, who is supposed to be a promoter, on the way to the bathroom and I got kicked out by a security officer with stars tattooed on his neck. I didnt shove or push anyone. I put my hand on his shoulder to let him know Im behind him as Im trying to get through the crowd. I didnt even exchange words with the guy. Now I was so confused because I didnt know what was going on. I was being kicked out off of BS and security would not let me go to my friends to let them know what was going on. Im pretty mellow and this situation was foreign to me. So Im getting frustrated by this whole situation and wanted to get my friends so we can leave. Apparently I wasnt sweet enough because the security guard, with stars tattooed on his neck, said to me "Now I understand why he kicked you out." This took me from confusion to being pissed off. I didnt call anyone out of their name...I wasnt fighting...or being belligerent. I just wanted to get my friends and leave and he had the nerve to tell me that I was being rude because I wasnt kissing his *ss. And the same security guard kicked my friend out because she kept following him and asking for the manager. Anyway. ..our time was ruined!!!! I will admit that after the fact, Big Chris (who is supposed to be the official promoter) and Mike (who is the owner? ?) tried to rectify the situation afterwards. While I appreciate their efforts, what they need to realize is that they need to be careful of who they have representing them and their establishment, because as "accommodating" Chris and Mike were, my experience of DRYNKS will forever be remembered because of a rude promoter with a massive ego and a rude security guard with the stars tattooed on his neck. I would not recommend it nor would I go there again! !!!

Bartender was very rude to my boyfriend this past Saturday night. She told him that there were free drinks till midnight after we were ready to purchase some. we did not know so she gave us the drinks for free. Since it was 11:58 he asked for one more before it would strike midnight. She snapped back at him saying wheres her tip cause she dont work for free. First of all B, how you know he wasnt gonna tip you after providing him great customer service. And second, I choose wether to tip you or not. So until I pull my money out my pocket I guess you are. Instead of snapping on her I went to the next girl and told her what happened. She snapped on me saying well you need to take it up with her and rolled her eyes and walked away. Wth. I was ignored for another 10 minutes. Even though I wanted to buy a drink with cash they wouldnt serve us. Had to go to another bartender. She got a tip for doing what she was hired to do.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! The bartender was sub par all night. When I purchased drinks with my card, I wrote "cash" in the tip field and left a dollar on the bar for him. The third time I purchase drinks for me and my friend, I returned the receipt to the bartender and he loudly said "if youre not going to tip just put zero. Thats the third time youve done that." And went off on a tangent in front of tons of people saying how it would be "less embarrassing for both of us" to just put 0. He then went over to my friend down the bar and told her that I wasnt tipping him! Seriously DO NOT go to this place it was horrible

Went there on a Saturday night.. waited for someone to take my drink order for 10 minutes. Then when I finally got my overpriced long island iced tea, it tasted awful. A few days later I checked my bank account and the bartender changed the credit card tip. When I called The Drynk, a man answered the phone mumbling so I could barely understand him. When I finally got in contact with the manager he communicated with me via text and didnt even refund my drink back. He was totally unhelpful and rude. He got offended when I stated his employee was wrong, and what she did was called stealing. I definitely wont go back there again. Its just another over rated South Tampa bar.

Was assaulted by a bouncer for simply trying to get back into the VIP area that I had been in all night. He didnt recognize me so when I started to walk past him to my table, the dude grabbed me and violently threw me into a table nearby severely cutting my hand, injuring my neck and back, and ripped my shirt in half. The atmosphere was fun, however, any place that hires goons to be their bouncers doesnt deserve to be in business. I am pressing charges. Bouncers have no more legal authority to put their hands on you than a waiter does. I recommend staying away from this place of business altogether.

DO NOT COME HERE. A bar tender charged my card $100 for a $10 drink. I didnt realize until a few days later when reviewing my bank statement. Soon after my information was stolen and someone charged my card over $200. Ive been attempting to get in contact with someone, ANYONE, for over two weeks to at least get a receipt for the transaction so my bank can refund my money. Ive left several messages. Ive resorted to going back to the location to speak with someone but they only open on weekends. Im attempting again today so Ill update... Also the music was terrible and drinks were over priced and gross.

There is a reason this place is located at the end of the block.. My girlfriend got a little to tipsy and puked, Which they encouraged by giving them a free ride in and pouring a little too heavy. Before I realized what was going on my double shot of rum and coke was poured out by one of the bouncers. Needless to say careless people and the lack of service. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to The Dubliners. The Drynk sucks!

The staff are horrible. They gave me a zip tie as a wrist band and later in the night it got tightened way too tight so i went up to ask for another one. The door guy cut of my zip tie and then immediately accused me of not paying the $20 cover charge, which i did. We even tried to show the bouncer the ATM transaction, we withdrew cash form their ATM, they still didnt believe that i had paid and kicked us out.

Its a nice place, I just dont like the fact that people who pay for VIP can get away with smoking weed and black and milds and the bouncers dont say nothing to them in the VIP sections, from experience but if you are not in VIP the bouncers tell you to go outside to smoke, which I had a black and mild thats LEGAL but the owner let VIP PEOPLE ONLY smoke weed which is ILLEGAL in Florida!! Makes a lot of sense!
