I have ridden my bike in Ohio, Iowa, And New Jersey! New Jersey ? Dose not spend the time and money, building bike or walking trails, I lived there for 4 years. And the trails they do have!! Are all way north of state. And there are very nasty gangs on these trails, that try to make you pay to ride them! The police and rangers dont care, so Im glad I moved away! Iowa? Very nice paved or crushed limestone, one I rode? Was 35 miles, today it must be over 50 ! Same trail, that was around 2006 to 2009, I would Iowa, as a very good state to ride, city of Carol, had a paved trail, an you ride 26 miles along the tall electric wind mills, as far as you can see, But Ohio!!! My birth place!!! I have rode ? I bet thousands of miles! From Lake Erie, west of state, east of state, Cleveland metro park, wonderful Time. And down to Dayton Ohio ! Wow this great state ! I call home, has Super , exciting, long and short trails, All I have been on! Very very well Maintained, clean ! Groomed, and ranger patrolled. Yes Ohio is my home! And my 1st choice to ride bike .

I used to really enjoy Blacklick, but they continue to make the parks more and more pet unfriendly. As it is, dogs are only allowed on paved paths, the most walkable of which starts in the way back of the park, 5+ minute drive from the entrance. Now they have also removed the dog watering station that used to be at the top of the big hill, a loss I only found after a two mile walk in 80+ degree weather with 90% humidity. I had to use the doggy clean up bag to get water from the regular fountain to allow my poor pups some relief. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I walk there much less often than I used to now, but I would guess that is what they were aiming for for pet owners anyway.

Went to this park today thinking I might be able to take my dog on a nice little walk though some wood trails. WRONG! Every part of this park that is open area is where you can take your pet, but any actual trail is prohibited. There are like 6-7 different kinds of trails but all of them CLEARLY state no pets allowed. There are special paths for bikes and walking but none where you can take your pet. They should atleast have one trail for animals. Columbus clearly doesnt have enough trails where pets are allowed. This is something the city should work on. But all in all park was ok but not a place to really take a pet.

Great nearby park for a walk, fall photos with family, biking, jogging, hiking. Nature center has a nice view of pond with lots of wildlife. Easy to spot deer, racoons, groundhogs, cranes, and tons of other birds. Rangers are very pleasant and knowledgeable about the parks flora and fauna. Shaded trails for hiking if you dont want to be on the big trail with the runners. Playgrounds are well maintained. Users tend to be litterbugs. Despite backing up to I-70, it is a lovely park.

Large beautiful park on the far East side just east of Brice road and Livingston. 3 separate interconnected short wooded trails all either paved, packed gravel or elevated boardwalk in the swampy areas. Additionally there is a long multipurpose trail I believe 5 miles worth for your running, biking, or rollerblading pleasure. There is a nature center with some live animals and educational exhibits and large windows for observing the woods right out side the center.

Beautiful park for events or just a day out in nature. There are several different walking trails, a multipurpose trail for bike riding, skating, etc. 3-4 play grounds, and a picnic area with grills. Plus multiple event halls and gazebos that can be reserved for events. There is a nature exhibit building located in the heart of the trails. It houses several animals inside and outside. The park is well cared for but preserves the natural habitat of the animals.

Its not my favorite park, but its still nice. There are some trails, but pets are not allowed on them. Overall, I would say its not the most dog friendly park in general, which is what I really go for. There is a large area that you can have them, but its only the picnic/playground area which is generally over crowded, especially on the weekends. They do keep up with it fairly well. You can also take the bike trail to other parts of the city/other parks.

Great walking/biking paths. Some paths are Pet friendly. Lots of shelters. Playground for the kids are in good condition. They have a little pond my kids refer to as the "Frog Pond" that they like to visit on our way out to see all the frogs before we leave. They have nature center all the way in the back that is set up to allow you to watch wildlife. Great place to go to kill some time!

Nobody wants animals defacating where their kids and themselves have to walk/play, if you want to walk a dog, theres a park across the street @ that one review! This park is by far one of the best ive ever seen in my life, being from Louisiana, lived in Texas and visited many states from Idaho to Tennessee and now live in Ohio, I have seen many parks and must say this one is in my top 5!

This park is amazing. Im biased because I worked here temporarily. However, its not just a couple of trees. Some awesome stuff includes -- Workout station/places for aerobics --Theres a ton of grills --Nature center, with snakes, turtles, a bees nest, and there are always tons of birds -- its pretty clean --Trails arent the best ever, its more of a picnic park but they arent bad.

The paths are generally well maintained, and mostly gravel. You will mostly encounter loggers and walkers. (Rollerbladers dont really have much space thats useable.) The deer in the park are uncommonly tolerant of humans, but they are wild animals: Appreciate them visually. The swamp has a boardwalk, but bring the repellent between April and the first hard frost.

me and my son love this park we walk a mile everyday and when the weather is on our side we go to the park to do it. The staff at the park are great I have brought baby birds to the park rangers that the neighborhood kids bring me and they take care of them for us. The volunteers at the nature building make learning about nature fun and informative.

I love this park. Its a great place to have a family BBQ. They have dozens of shelters with grills attached. It is first come first server basis however. The park has many open fields, nature trails, and jungle jims for kids to play on. Also the wildlife there is amazing. We saw multiple animals during a nature trail walk.

I love the Creek Park, small or big but black lick woods blew my mind when I visited it. Its a very big park with scattered trees around while having thick buses (forest) dividing the park into different centers. I bet you go there on a Saturday, you will never stop going there. Try it!

It was very scenic!! Beautiful & quiet. I was able to see deer & rabbits. I loved how big the paths were for traffic being able to move easier. There were benches for sitting if need to. Creek is accessible to view & skip rocks. Plus your able to bring your dog as well.
