My husband and I are current residence of the Riverside Golf Course and Yacht Community in Ruskin, Florida. We have lived here 3 and a half years and are currently selling our home. American Land Lease advertises all the amenities in their brochures which are quite impressive. However, unless you are one of the pool side drinkers or one of the elect HOA officers these amenities are not for you. From the first trip into the newest of the 2 pools I have been told where I can swim and were I cannot swim. Who can use the hot tub and who cannot. I cannot use the club house amenities because you feel intimidated by the old crones card club. Oh, and dont even try the excercise room you have to have 4 types of ID to prove, to anyone who feels they have the right to ask, if you live here. Or told by the "rent a cops" who patrol the park, because of recent theft of tools and golf carts, you are not welcome to sit on the screened in porch attached to the main club house. Dont you dare bring your grandchildren they are not welcome anywhere within the park. And your pets better be stuffed or dont poop, of course, unless you are part of the chosen few. So my husband, and I, not part of the elected few, but hard working, white, christian, retired Americans are leaving this "Stepford" existence. Vowing never again will me or my family live in an over 55 community. Especially American Land Lease owned. Not an equal opportunity agent.

played this course last year. really didnt enjoy it... fairways were very dry and hard greens were also in rough shape, and absolutely no maintenance. a few nice holes on the back nine but other than that, very rough.

People were rude. Starter said she didnt have my T-time....acted like I was trespassing!!! Course was horrible, grass was dead if there was any. Greens needed mowed. I wouldnt go back if they paid ME to golf!

The HOA is crazy. I pay almost 900.00 a month for nothing. Liv I ng here for a little more than 2 yrs. It has raised almost 200.00 a month. Golf course a joke. Buy elsewere.

Course is in poor shape. Starter/ranger was really rude. Pay a few extra bucks and go to Cypress Creek or Summerfield or one of the dozens of better options within 20mi.

Jonathan has done a great job with updating the course and prices are very reasonable. Really enjoy playing here. Give it a shot if you havent played here in a while
