So far this has been the worst campground I have ever been to in North America. My van broke down 1 mile from park in rain when i stopped for gas after 2500 miles and they would not let me tow it in even after i offered any amount of a deposit to convince them it would not be left disabled something had got wet . after pleading for mercy for a nights sleep i was told no and left in the rain for 6 hr then it dried out started and i came to park. the staff is quite unfriendly and unwilling to help in any way. the bathrooms are locked all the time you have to keep a code with you to go for a leek. the toilet paper is on roll holders that dont allow the rolls to roll so you have to flip the toilet paper in around itself they have a lock on the toilet paper larger than the one I lock my bike with in NYC there is a train whistle blows on the 15 minutes twice followed by two trains all day till midnight. Walking around the park at night I got stopped and asked for ID by the security guard and told id needed to be carried at all times remember to strap that to my left nut Staff is to lazy to clean garbage out of the wood line looks like dump site but walk around behind sites revving there weed eaters in the air the site was all mud The following day we had to change sites. i asked if there was a way we could set our stuff so we could go to the beach i received blank uncaring stares an told we needed to be at the site no later then 12 1230 it was 2 oclock before the site to move to was cleared it rained during our wait and soaked a bunch of our stuff i set up a line to dry it off and was told to take it down so i did then i took 10 minutes to change a fan belt and was warned i could not do that . the new site was a lot better and dry park staff seam to think 8 am is a good time to go leaf blowing around the campsites. after 4 days the people i was with said they needed to come back next week for 4 days when they went to register they were told i could not return with them i am heart broken by this and might cry. Fortunately for the park manager and staff this your only choice in fort later dale for camping. So enjoy your stay and dont expect any compassion exceptions from these people as they have none they also will not very from there rules unless thay are to fault and if you want tight yet useless security that only in convinces you. this is the place for you. Im glad to leave. There is a nice place in Jupiter. And nice places in the keys

Was told its okay to pay a few hours late as long as I call to let them know and now they kicked me and my girlfriend out with no where to go when we never missed a payment and its like your not aloud to do anything or have anything at all on your site. I was here for over a month and they dont clean up. We found used condoms and trash all throughout the park. Broward county inmates are supposed to be their to clean but they sit their and lounge around all day. And the only reason I have them 1 star is because of the staff that is friendly. The manager will also go through your belongings if left outside. He went through a few totes I had and was looking under my tarps. county park or not they are not aloud to do that its called invasion of privacy

I have read a post here that was very negative about the campground at Easterlin and wanted to respond. We are currently the Camp Hosts here. During our tenure we have come to appreciate the staff who truly cares about this wonderful park. It is a public park but there is also an expectation for those who camp here to maintain their sites, keep dogs on a leashes and be good neighbors. It has been my experience that those who do not are not here long. We also feel very safe here. My wife and I love the serenity of this small, clean park. If you are looking for a quiet park* (*and do not mind the hum of the nearby Interstate and an occasional train horn blast) nestled near Fort Lauderdale I highly recommend Easterlin Park.

Love this park. Plenty of woodsy areas, nice playground for the kids. The camp sites are a little small, but untypical for a camp site. You technically have access to the whole park at night after the dates close, and exploring the park at night as a lot of fun. I think the real draw, however, is the great Disc Golf course they have there. The course is varied, with some open field throws and some woodsy throws. Beware the lake, I have lost many discs in there. But the park office periodically will fish out the discs and call the owners to let them know they found their disc. A great service!

Great here! Big simi-private lots, well kept up, super nice and helpful staff. Wooded campground, I walk the park every day. The down side. Very close to I95 and the train tracks. I hardly hear I95 but the trains! Most of the trirail trains I never hear anymore, but the freight trains? They sound like a 747 is landing on the roof. Its better for RVs VS tents. What they need here is washer and dryers and better security. The park users should not have access to the campground area, unless they are camping here.

Great RV camping park but not so much for tents if you are a light sleeper. The website warns about the train that runs next to the park constanly. My family and I where ok with that. However, the constant traffing sound comming for the interstate all night drove me wild. I could not shut an eye. The bathrooms and showers need some serious updating. Other than that, the park is a very pretty oasis in a inner city area. My favorite part were the grounds , the trees and the ammount of butterflies.

Beautiful quite park, very clean, wonderful staff, large lots, plenty of trees and nature. Im here for work and have been inside the park on and off for a year and i love it i would would stay permanently if county parks aloud it, the staff does a wonderful job in every department, I cant say some of the other clients who stay here are as clean and nice as the staff but thats uncontrollable. Its can get a little more price wise but the peace and quite is worth every penny

We love this park. We call it Jurassic Park. There is so much wildlife in the park. You never know what you will see. The animals are not too afraid to come right up to you. You can take your dog, but they must stay on a leash. They have Frisby golf, if youre into it. There are a few trails to check out as well. Its a $1.50 per person on holidays and weekends. I believe that children under a certain age get in free.
