The kids really enjoyed this park. It had plenty for them to do and places to run around. The only negative was the whole time we were there about 6 or 7 teenagers were all over the playsets and blocking all the children from going down slides or even using a while playsets. One parent approached then and asked for them to move and the cussed her out so we packed the kids up and left. I wasnt getting involved and didnt feel comfortable with my kids around that. I cant say that they are there all the time but the past three times we went they were. Im guessing this is their new hangout.

The lights were on at the tennis courts but the lights didnt come on at the Volleyball court which I know they come on in the past. The park ranger saw us on the court and didnt do anything but check the bathrooms.

Beautiful park at the western end of Oakland Park off at the end of NW 17Th Ave. Nice walking trail, pavilion and a bridge that divides the 2 lake.

Nice and peaceful. Love the volley ball field near the playground which can double basically as a big sand pit. Seems popular with exercise goers
