Tip for adults, dont buy a wrisband buy tickets if your little one doesnt want to or cant ride by themselves. They close rides from 3-3:30 every day, my buddy who went with his didnt ride a single ride nor did his son he had to work in 2 1/2 hours, when he asked for a refund and tried explaining the person showed no empathy and threatened to call the cops when my buddy wasnt being irrate or anything. He actually decided to leave when the rides were closed and we thought itd be idea to feed the kids, nope $7 for a slice of pizza, $8 for a hamburger, $8.50 for chesseburger. We didnt eat, tried the arcade... at least the had some classics that work like TMNT and Terminator 2, but all of the other money suckers for tickets spit out worthless amounts, machines dont work. Just a poorly maintained place, I feel more confident in county fair rides. I myself had great memories as a kid, and im sure my 5 year old son will... but thatll be the last.

I returned to Midway with my own kids after moving away to another state. It was like a trip back in time. My husband couldnt believe all the courtesies offered by the park: free parking, free use of picnic area, beach, low cost rides, food, arcade... Four generations enjoyed Midway, starting with my grandmother. What a jewel in the landscape of western NY. I will be making a donation to the park so that others can have this experience.

Im giving in four stars for nostalgia. Not many rides and mostly for small kids. Tilt a whirl and bumper cars were the top rides. The carousel is very cool. I found some cool T-Shirs in the gift shop there for half price for only $6.50. Did not eat there. They have Gocarts but it was closed.

This is a great place to visit with kids. The rides are perfect for toddlers under 40 inches to ride with parents and kids over 40 inches to ride solo. There is a small train, miniature golf, carousel, and locations for picnics. There is place that sells food and ice cream closer to the water.

Great place to take the kids if you are in the Chautauqua area!! Dont let its looks decisive you- my family has spend hours here and keep coming back. Definitely check it out if you have kids! Tip: walk to the back of the park and there is a nice view of the lake :)

Planned for weeks to go to Midway with my kids while in town visiting family. It is a tradition. When I checked the hours were listed as 12-7 Wednesday, yet when we showed up they were closed all this week and next.

It is way over priced, parents have to pay for tickets to ride with their small children. There are only approximately 10 rides and my 4 year old was only able to ride 3 without an adult due to his height.

Its a small, local amusement park. Great for little kids. Theres an arcade, skating rink, bumper cars, go carts, and a dozen or so rides. Some are exclusively for toddlers, all are kid friendly.

I had no idea that some state parks had arcade games. We arrived by boat and play skeeball with the family. It was a great summer activity that i hope to do again next year.
