Ducked into this gem for a bite and a biz meeting. Surprisingly, I had never ever set foot in the building. Cool place hidden in the trees currently under renovation. Has a tree-house sort of feel. New tile, new paint, new ceiling highlights, and a bathroom reno are all underway. Mostly cosmetic, although tough to tell through some closed doors and construction tape. The restaurant downstairs abuts the course and gives you the sense that youve step into the basement of the tree-house. Very cool vibe. Dark wood. Shadows. Very nice. Ducked in for the return of their storied Sunday Brunch. SCORE! $18.95 gets all-you-can-eat buffet fun in an uncrowded country club setting. Buffet fare included: * Bacon * Sausage * Eggs Bene * French Toast * Breads n bagels (and boring) * Omelette station and the really DELISH offerings: * Carving station with moist and delish Turkey and * New York Strip flavored through! (my fave) * Seafood station with peel-n-eat skrimps * Surimi Crab Salad (SCORE!!) * Shrimp and seafood creole (spicy and delish!) * Carrot cake was a hit with the table next to mine * Chocolate cake was the "bomb" according to Emily The staff was friendly, efficient, and effective. Mimosas are 2-4-1 for $6 bucks. Say it with me: SCORE! The golf course looks gorgeous, alas, I am not a golfer. Call for reservations and save me a seat! Cabeza STUFFED!

This course used to be the best course in South Florida about three years ago but it just isnt the same anymore. Disappointing on many levels. In summary: Pros: Fun layout Cons: Called to make tee time, how are your greens? "Theyre in great shape!" GPS on cart didnt work Driving range tee area is horrible, like hitting out of the rough Greens on the front 9 are not good, patches of dead green everywhere Greens on the back are only ok No water cooler anywhere on the course. Thirsty? Not important Many tee boxes are over grown, so high the grass has flowers Ask for water on the turn to the cart guys, nope, got to go into the bar I hate to leave a review like this but this is the third time this year weve given this track a chance but it was STRIKE THREE for us. Weve concluded its one of two things, either they need to fire their superintendent, or they just dont have the financial backing to keep the course in good shape anymore. Either way I dont know how anyone would pay $150 or more to play this track. In the shape its in (April 2015) its a $50 track at best. I really hope this course finds new life, its such a great challenging course, its just neglected.

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception on May 22, 2011 here at the Club at Emerald Hills. As the Bride, I have to say It was such a great experience. My husband was very pleased as well. Our guests are still talking about how great everything was. George is the Caterer and the point of reference person to talk to. He did an out-standing job. The wedding and reception decor was very well placed and beautiful. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME!! George did great with catering the food to fit my husbands and my familys ethnic background. The Prime Rib, Salmon, and Chicken was exceptional. He even made a vegetarian meal for the few vegetarian guests I had there. Georges staff was very nice and punctual. George even went out of his way to help my aunt who had a dress malfunction..LOL... He does great with keeping order. I would definitely refer others here. And the golf Course IS BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks :-)

Played here a few years ago and was fantastic condition, so I booked thru Golf Now and thought was getting a gr8 deal, however turns out the greens are now crap after continually being under repair with regular aeration, so is more just like a regular public track, and fairways all wet & soggy coupled with the rough looking like a cow pasture. We missed the fairway several times but only by a few feet and took 5-10 mins each time to find balls in thick, thick grass. This is the 2nd time (about 12mths apart ) have fallen for this scam. Dont advertise deals on golf now, WITHOUT telling clients the course is pretty much GUR. Wont be back no matter how much you discount.

My daughter and I chose the Club at Emerald Hills for her wedding and wedding reception. With only a month and a half to go, a change in caterer manager was made at the Club - although initially concerned, we give kudos to Luis Garcell and his staff. The wedding day worked out perfectly,(even though it rained and we had planned on an outdoor event), the decor was perfect, the food was great, and the staff worked to make it a perfect event. And it was. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great course and worth every penny! Played the Emerald Hill course many times over several years whilst living in Miami. Best course in South Florida and very good golfers will be asked serious questions about their approach play. Easy part is finding the green, the most difficult is getting off, the greens are lightening fast and undulating. Forget your long game, bring your short game!

Beautiful course. Loved the greens. Excellent condition for winter season. Some greens have subtle breaks that are hard to read and others have monster breaks that will have you scratching your head. Went there as a single and the staff hooked me up with a twosome. I will play it again on my next trip to hollywood.

One of the most arrogant country clubs I have ever visited, brought our nephew along, not playing and was charge $25 to ride along: Really promotes junior golf! NOT! Will not ever return to this place! Beware!!!! Not my type of enjoyable round of golf

The best golf course I have played in Florida. The greens are fast like a PGA tour event. The course is so beautiful and well maintained. Cant wait to go back and play. For anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area, I would highly recommend this course.

This is the best golf course in the Fort Lauderdale area. If you are in South Florida and are looking for the fastest greens and most meticulous course conditions, come to The Club at Emerald Hills in Hollywood Florida. Bring your short game!

I went to the Thanksgiving buffet today for the first time in 5 years. I Was extremely disappointed. Unlike 5 years ago, there was no prime rib, no additional meat dishes, no whole cakes or pies. The price was $10 higher.

Its OK. Why? ...because when you live on Miami...there are so many amazing options that this club seems a little dated. Its a nice place.

Great place, close to the office and the greens are well maintained. A couple of long greens and elevated hills make for a good challenge

It can be expensive in season, but, simmer rates are reasonable. Very friendly staff, free range balls, challenging course layout.
