I lived in the neighborhood for about 7 years, ever since July 2006, and then we moved out to California in 12. I used to go on the course every once in a while with my dad, and I loved the fact that at hole 5 or 6, I could drive through the tree line to Sabal Lake Dr. on the golf cart, go home, grab a bite, then finish the round. What really set it all off was the architecture. Whoever built the course did a phenomenal job. The food was delicious, the staff members were always friendly, and every once in a while they would come and play a round with us. All Ive really got to say is, if you live in the Orlando, and are looking for an all-around spectacular golf course, DO come here! You will find yourself basked in friendliness and the beauty of the tropics. I really miss coming here, even just seeing the staff made me happy.

I moved down to "Orlando" about 6 years ago and found a home in RWL and have loved every minute of it. The course is one of the most beautiful well maintained and affordable courses in all of Central Florida. The staff is very friendly, food is great, the greens are always in great shape. "Dwarf Bermuda -truest reads" I would recommend this course to anyone visiting or would like a challenge. Almost every hole has you hitting over water on your tee shot and also on your approach. Maybe I am shooting myself in the foot for letting out our best kept secret, but I have to give my home course the recogintiton is deserves.

Ive lived in Orlando for over 4 years, and I carry a scratch handicap. Ive played just about every course in Orlando, from Bay Hill to Grand Cypress and Eagle Dunes and Im gonna tell you Ridgewood Lakes has the best greens in Central Florida period. They were just bought out by the group that owns Celebration Golf Club and Orange County National and they have done an awesome job, this course has always had a great layout very challenging, but they have really turned it around.

Greens are absolutely horrible at the moment. Its a shame this course could be the greatest in the area. At the moment its not worth $5.00 to play. Kitchens grill is closed, so hot dogs and cold subs only, and youll be lucky if they have beer. Range is closed due to a broken picker so good luck trying to get some practice in. Shane shame is this place is a hidden gem that is marketed correctly and no money is being spent to improve it to its full potential.

Got a Groupon for $19 and it wasnt worth a penny more. Course is in rough shape. Greens are a mess. Also wasnt the most polite staff I have ever encountered. Lastly the pace of play was AWFUL and no one did any thing about it. A group of older gentlemen were holding up 3 groups behind them with probably 5 holes empty in front of them. Will not be returning. Much rather spend another $10 and get much better conditions at other courses.

I golfed this course in May of 2007. The course was in nice shape. The place was busy. Our tee time was at 7:20 and the team of Ridgewood Lakes made sure you were on the tee box at your tee time. The staff treated you more upscale even though the place is down to earth. Being from Wisconsin it was cool to see an alligator on the course sunning himself. It is worth the money and pretty easy to find off from I-4.

The newer Management are not taking care of this course!. Beautiful Palm trees are dying due to neglect & lack of trimming. The light on street entrance is out. The drive & parking lot are full of potholes. This is wrong, & this formally pristine course is looking like a dump! If you can not maintain this course, sell it to someone who can. Shameful!!!!

This course is awesome. I love the challenge it presents with the amount of water, which means bring plenty of balls. I almost went through my dozen even being a 8 handicap. The staff was really nice and helpful. Lets not forget about the prices that definitely deserve to be higher. One of the best value courses in the Orlando area.

The course layout is awesome! If youre not a great golfer, then be prepared to lose a few balls. There are a lot of water hazards on this course. I will definitely golf here again. Its a very nice course! The only negative thing I can say is, the greens were very sandy. Other than that we really enjoyed our round of golf.

One of my favorite courses in the Orlando area. A bit higher green fee but deals can be found if you are flexible. Great service from the staff including unloading and club cleaning.

The golf course was not for the price point ($20) the fairways were not bad but the most of the greens we slow and in bad condition. Overall, not a bad place to play some cheap golf.

The community and landscaping was beautiful. The golf course was not in very good shape. The greens were covered in sand and the fairways and tee blocks were chewed up.
