We had a villa here for the family - 4 of us in total. Lovely place with everything we needed. Theres a Walmart just outside which is handy. The Dunes golf course was out of action while we were there for maintenance. To be honest I was happy with that, I dont play golf and it meant there werent people walking round the course just behind the villa. It has barriers on the entry / exit with a guard 24 hours. They were always friendly and efficient which was reassuring.

The area is very clean, quiet and safe. The staff in the area are quite nice and helpful. Everything you need is right at the walmart which is very close by. This place is perfect for a relaxing time and de-stress but if you are looking for something to do if you are young then everything is quite far and you definitely need a car. Overall the place is great but can get boring.

Great course, terrible speed of play. No rangers checking the speed , the guys there said that speed was a problem. However the course is really nice and worth the money. Waiting for every single shot was a drag, and the 5 and a quarter hours it took got very weary towards the end. Pity they could not get a ranger to sort it out Best conditions in the area.

Played this course on Friday Feb 13. It was by far the BEST course we played on our 4 day trip here. Outstanding golf course with great hole design and friendly service. We will definitely be back to this gem of a track. Played Disneys Magnolia the day before....and this one blows Magnolia away !!!

Stayed in a villa on the course for a family visit to Florida over two weeks - fantastic location and facilities. All the villas look to be well maintained, and the ground staff are constantly tending to the grass/course to ensure everything is presented well. Restaurant also well worth a visit.

We were aware of the aeration of the greens, however, we were shocked with the level of disrepair, irrigation repairs with open holes and piles of debris, fringe of greens non existent (will not be cured by aeration), but the biggest negative was the rude beligerant behavior of the starter.

Just come back to the UK from a 2 week vacation in Orlando. This is the 3rd time we have stopped here in southern dunes and we wouldnt pick anywhere else. Beautiful villa with a beautiful golf course with 24hr security and only 20 mins from Disney....what more could you ask for

Our third time staying in a vila here and every time were blown away with how at home you feel. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in a vila in Florida. Decent distance from all the parks and a Wal-Mart just outside for all youre day to day requirements.

Fringes have been completely replaced and are knitting in very nicely. Greens are fast and firm. Roll is true. Very courteous and hard working staff. Great layout with tees for all levels. Dunes card is a must if you plan on playing here more than 3 or 4 times.

Our second trip here, the home is beautiful. Unfortunately the golf course is not in operation at this time but we were able to golf it last year and it was phenomenal! We most definitely return.

Some lovely villas on here, close enough to the theme parks as long as youve got a car. And close to so many fast food chains and decent restaurants, dont let the distance put you off.
