I dont think the security at the museum has got the memo as they were going all rude and loud on visitors old and young alike. The experience reminded me of a particular prison movie series on TV which shouldnt come to mind when visiting an attraction. Maybe its an American thing to treat tourists this way but we from the UK find it completely inappropriate and definitely rude. The archives were good but I have to admit that we didnt get over the initial experience till later on.

Youve gotta come here and see the original documents that shaped our nations beginning. Paintings in the ceiling and other historical artifacts keep your interest for hours. Tip: If you want to see the original documents, start on the second floor. If you have a wheelchair/ stroller, you might have a guard escort you to the ramp and cut the line.

My husband and I loved it. The Magna Carta, deed to Statue of Liberty, Declaration of Independence, Contitution, and Bill of Rights are worth seeing. There are many other documents as well, such as Emancipation Proclaimation. Archives do a great job of presenting things and educating even when self-guiding.

I didnt originally plan on coming here but Im glad I did. Seeing our Constitution in front of my eyes and seeing the pen marks from the men who formed our country was nothing short of awe inspiring. They dont allow you to take many photos simply due to the fragility of the documents.

The Rotunda with the Charters of Freedom is probably the most popular room here, but be sure to check out some of the other areas. The rotating exhibits in the Lawrence F. OBrien gallery are always fantastic - interesting topics expertly curated and presented.

The Bill of Rights, Constitution and declaration of Independence are all here! There is also an interesting display on doing genealogical research. How might the archives help? Better than average hands on displays.

Although it was an honor to see our founding documents, the security guards at this place are extremely rude. The door clearly says "entrance" so why are you hassling me about going through the door?

Go see the museum for yourself. In addition to other great things, it has the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights, collectively known as the Charters of Freedom, on display.

A pretty huge place full of history. I didnt get a chance to explore the entire place, but I got the chance to view the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Wonderful experience

Advertise a learning space but it closed. Only a small portion of things on display. A lot of reading. Need more interactive displays. This past visit there wasnt a line.

The most important historical documents of the United States. There is a lot to see there besides for the declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Not as interactive as it could be. Rather small amount of items actually on display, but offers a walk through history as displayed throughout the museum.

Not a bad experience. Security guards are a bit of a hassle and unfriendly. Overall a nice experience to see your US documents
