This tour would have been better maybe if i were not the only person on the tour. The historical store fixtures are vary interesting. When I tour places like this, I think about what will be left in 200 years of todays special places. Who thought to keep all the records? The notes for an order from Martha Washington? The cabinets still stocked with herbs and the tools of the trade? It really is quite interesting.

This is a super cool and inexpensive place to learn about the first American Pharmacies. You will feel like you have truly traveled back in time. Some of the stories you will hear will make your jaw drop. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but spoke a little bit fast for my pace. I could have spent more time in this place.

This is a wonderful museum. It operated as an apothecary shop from late 1700s to early 1900s and has been frozen in time since then. The artifacts and medicines from those times are a great combination of interesting, weird, and historical.

Step back in time and enjoy the stories from the gravious doscent. We had a private tour and no waiting! Tour is less than 30 mins and since it was just the two of us we asked questions gallore and took plenty of pictures.

The tour guide is the coolest person ever! At least when I went there, she went very into detail with everything and included her personal opinions on parts of the shop and the all-mighty "Meat Juice".

An amazingly preserved, historic building. The building is exactly the way it was 100 years ago. Though a short tour, its a unique experience for little cost. Highly recommend.

Beautifully preserved apothecary, very helpful and informative tour guide and an extremely relevant gift shop. A lovely stop!

Unique. Agatha Christies elegant murderers must have gotten their potions at an apothecary shop like this.
