This is a fabulous place that everybody should visit at least once if not twice or more it is a serious look into the past as things were back at the turn of the last century from the steam cars to the steam train to the Mansion tours to the car rides it is real living history with a wonderful bunch of volunteers and staff that is willing to help an answer questions lots of surprise programs and visits from outside vendors who have products and services the likes of which you dont get to see in many other places their ice cream vendor is fabulous I recommend the steam oil ice cream

Amazing old steam cars in a lovely setting. Very friendly, with a lot of nice volunteers that help explain what you see. Hands on things like riding in an old steam car or on the miniature steam train - which goes through a tunnel and is just plain fun! Make sure to check open hours, they are only open a couple of times per month!

Lovely Gilded Age mansion until recently occupied by the descendants of the original builders. Donated to the state it now houses a large collection of steam powered cars. Not open all the time.
