Its nice to know about this place. Good place to learn about the area history. Need time to learn everything. I would prefer to visit the place thought several visits if you are interested in history. The first floor by the reception has special exhibitions from time to time. I like the idea. One section would be dedicated for an artist from a past era while the other for contemporary artist. Also, the second and third floor has special exhibitions. In the day of opening a new exhibitions and there is a reception the museum is open for public for free. There is enough parking.

Its A Great Educational Experience For Children!! (Ages 6-11) But If Your Going To Bring Kids 7th Abd Up Its Not A Good Trip Because The Kids Will Get Bord. But Overall Good Place And You Learn About Our City Mattuck (Waterbury)

The old mesuem showed a lot more details as far as history goes. This new mesuem cant hold a candle to the old one. Basically it should be redone to show real history. After all isnt that the whole idea! !!!
