I can see how cool of an attraction this place can/will be once all the construction is complete. Having parks in the city is always nice. I read from other reviews that safety is a concern as it should be anywhere. We had no problems and felt very safe while doing some late night pokemoning. I know parks are most enjoyed during the day time hours but having lights along the path would be ideal. It will help park goers feel safer, keep shady characters away and allow the park to be enjoyed more. Especially in the winter when you have less day light.

The park is fantastic with river flowing by the side. The confluence of the river and the creek is picturesque. Our family enjoyed by walking in the park with sipping coffee from nearby Starbuck. The wonderful sight of seeing ducklings in the river adds further delight. The added attraction is that the park is in the downtown itself. We have taken a lot of family photos with downtown at the backdrop.

Nice place but did not feel safe. The person having picnic beside us was smoking marijuana. It was unfortunate for us because we were with our kids and he was too, but that did not stop him from having his smoke. Me and my friends dont smoke at all. I just hope that people are more considerate of others. Especially if there are kids around.

This was the first place I saw in Denver when I moved here and I immediately fell in love. First of all it is not just a creek but a confluence and rapids. There are many people just lounging around, reading books, walking dogs, tubing. The outsoor seating at Starbucks adds charm and the backdrop of the old brick building.

There was so much to do here, and we didnt even see everything. Great place for the kids to play in there water and just have a good time. We also did the train ride, Wich was neat as well. That was the only thing we paid for, which was $5 for adults and$2 for children. Overall it was a pretty cheap family fun day

This is a beautiful place, and worth visiting. My suggestion is to go when most of the plants are green rather than in the winter. We still enjoyed our visit in February and are happy we went. It just makes us want to go back when most of the outdoor plants are green!

Nice little park with some benches and access to the water. Right across 15th Street from Commons Park, which is much bigger and has a big open field for playing in. Confluence Park is named so because it is right where Cherry Creek feeds into the South Platte River.

Seems like theres always construction here, but its a nice little park by the river at the edge of downtown. Theres a bike path that runs through it which has great views, but watch out if youre a pedestrian for bikes. Great for pokemon go as well.

This is a FREE outdoor family fun location... Kids can splash in the water, take a walk and enjoy the amazing views, get a bite at a food cart, watch canoe riders, and other water sport lovers... One of Denvers must see locations

Really great area and an incredible park to go if you are downtown. Links up to commons park on continues down to the skate park. Although there is construction right now so you cant go under the bridge to get to commons

Love taking my dog here to play during the day. The river water is dirty and shallow. There are no bathrooms but it is a great place to cool off in an attempt to beat the summer heat while touring Downtown Denver.

Night life at the park. Whether its dipping your feet in the river on a hot day or taking in the night life in the surrounding areas, always a great Central location for LoDo & LoHi Denver activities.

Something between a river and water park. Seems out of place in Colorado. The locals find this water hole a good place to cool off. Not my cup of tea, but the locals dont seem to mind.

Beautiful urban park at the confluence of the South Platte River and Cherry Creek containing a kayak course, rapids and areas where people sun, swim and picnic.

Cute little park on the river. Great place to dip your feet in the water. A little concerning seeing a lot of homeless people and graffiti.

Theres a lot of construction by REI at the moment so it kind of ruins the views, but typically a really great place to walk and bike.

I dont like the conflicting strata of socio-economic paradigms, that and the diversity memorial sits atop a sewer grate...

Between the bums and the construction this place could be better... Also, please dont get in the water... Ever... Ewww

Construction is kind of a mess lately, but it was (and hopefully will be) a nice place to see water in Denver.
