The HOA has fully desecrated this place. Filling in the circular granite recessed echo chamber, gating in the park area, so as, ineffectively, to preclude its use by people not like them. Its really a fantastic area with a theme of upended geometry: an inverted amphitheater, a mock castle rampart that terminates abruptly at the pinnacle, and the concave hilltop ("Stoner Hill") that recalls the gardens at the modernist Aspen Institute. Aerially, the region forms the nexus of a quintuple arc of alliterative parks, including Commons, Cuernavaca, and Confluence.

The whole park had a strong sewage(?) smell. Not sure if it was the river but it sure smelt bad and shortened our visit. That and the homeless that were popping in from everywhere just made an uncomfortable feel in general. Wont be returning.

Clandestine niches, diverse enough vegetation. I enjoy the native plant grove but yeah if youre spooked by homeless its not saturated by any means, but youll see one or two and usually theyre nice so chill

Its getting better. Now that most of the drug addicts have moved to warmer climates for winter, but the token dealer is still here. The cops were able to arrest some of them, they need to get the rest...

The hill is a spot to get away from the bull s*** and bond with people that have the same hobbies you have. People want to tear it down. Wish they would stop hating

It used to be a co place to hang out and walk around. Now days too many homeless or drug users. Sometimes you can still enjoy the park like in the past.

My favorite area in downtown Denver is the Commons/Confluence parks and Little Raven area. Always nice, clean, and surrounded by great businesses.

This is not the nicest park in Denver but it offers a break from the noise and concrete of the city and provides for a bit of nature and peace.
