This is a really beautiful well-maintained park with several trails ranging from horse paths to waterside loops, sidewalks and little dirt footpaths. Tons of accessibility to all of the bordering neighborhoods, lots of benches, plenty of lighting around the main loops, yet you can still find more isolated and less-traveled trails on the outer sections, especially the west side of the park. I love the little bridges over the water- great for bird viewing and taking a break from the sun. Theres not a whole lot of shade through the majority of the park, but I really appreciate the openness and beautiful quality of light, especially at sunset. Great place for walking, running, families, dogs, and horses.

I love to bring my two little boys to this park. There are a number of small lakes with trails around them that we walk down after a trip to the library. When the weather is nice we can find a place to read outside which the boys love. The park hosts various events throughout the year including Cider Days in the fall. The trails around the park are great for a quick run in the morning or evening. Right after school this park is very full of students making their way from school to home. The only downside of this park is that high traffic at certain times of the day.

I love this park! Its beautiful with lots of wildlife and its huge! Theres a path around the lake, and amphitheater with live music on the summer, a cultural center and lots of great places to sit and watch the birds. Ive identified many diferent species of birds including great blue heron (even breedong pairs with chicks), cormorant, American avocet, and many more. Ive seen snapping turtles and there are a lot of huge fish...some literally 2 feet long (NO FISHING)! I walk my dogs here at least once a week! My favorite park ever!

We love this park! Always kept clean. So many beautiful things to see and do. We love riding bikes, running or taking the pup for a walk. We always feel safe here but I think with anywhere you should always be aware of your surroundings. One of our favorite things to do is come here to watch the sunset by the lake. Just stunning!! This week we saw a man with 2 beautiful horses ride by us when we were leaving the park. It was an amazing experience! Im just in awe of the beauty here.

I love this place! Several trails around the lake. Beautiful view of birds nesting on the island, youll see ducks, fish, turtles and maybe the beaver. Right beside this place is the Littleton Heritage center which has vintage buildings to look at and into. Really neat! There are also port-o-pottys so you dont have to rush home. I also saw a little ampitheater so they might have concerts there. Definitely a place to check out!

This park is great for going on walks and runs. There are sidewalk trails, dirt trails, horse trails and some boardwalks. Fishing, bird watching and portrait taking also seem to be popular activities. Theres a good climbing park for kids and the library is just off the path. There are also free concerts and events from time to time and some historical buildings that are occasionally staffed with guides.

Plenty of choices on what path you want to choose whether it be a larger or smaller loop. Nice scenery and plenty of paths leading off to somewhere else. A few walkways by the water. I heard someone had a run in with a coyote a little past dusk so be aware. Its a habitat that houses wildlife. Dont let it scare you away from this amazing park though, but know the critters come out at night.

Lovely place to go for a walk any time of day or year! Not recommended for biking, there are lots of elderly pedestrians, wayward dogs on leashes, slow-moving kids and birdwatchers. Paved trails and single track walking trails. Turtles, praying mantis, frogs, fish, coyotes and many birds call this place home.

This place is great. Its really big for being in such a populated area and they have lots of great family activities. Some of the events can be a little chintzy, but if youre looking for a quiet place to spend a few hours, a walk around the lake is wonderful. You may even see the resident coyotes.

Nice to look at. How do you NOT post signs where you park so that a disabled person gets all the gear out, lugs it to the water only to find a NO FISHING sign. And then has to do it again to leave that ridiculous excuse for a park. And there is evidence everywhere indicating people fish there.

Amazing place. We walk here often. You can go for a stroll around the lake and check out all the variety of wildlife. Hangout and bird watch the center Bird Island. Or go for a trip around the historic section, full of old building and great things to learn about the local area.

A great park with a short hike around the lake with varying options for trails. Can get extremely hot during the daytime and there is a lot of still water so bring sunscreen and bugspray. Lots of ducks during the day too that are friendly and you can feed.

I come here to either bike or walk around the lake. They have benches every few hundred feet or so to in case someone has to rest. Each bench has a dedication. Mostly well lit, also has a horse trail.

Beautiful scenery of course. But several restored buildings from the 50s make a more interesting outing. Lake filled with nesting birds are great attraction for children as well as adults.

A great location for photographers as there is the Lakewood Heritage Museum, and an abundance of nature trails around the man-made pond where many different types of wildlife can be found.

We went pokemon hunting here when it first came out. It was a squirtle best. This park is very big though. Might be a little easy to get lost. There are a lot of different paths.

Awesome scenery, multiple trails, some horse friendly. Lots of wildlife, snowy egrets for instance. If you go during the day, the historic park is open.

Great park for a run or walk. The path lengths are shown on the signs all over the park so you can easily know how far youve walked or run.
