Nickel City is one of those places that you know could be a lot better but you like it just the same. We are fortunate to have a local arcade like Nickel City. You pay an entrance fee of $2.00 and then pay for whatever value of Nickels youd like. Typically $5 worth of Nickels is enough for most but you are spending so little on games that its easy to spend $10 on games while you are there. They have plenty of more current arcade games, ticket games, and my personal favorite old classic games which are often free. Im talking about the old Simpsons games, X-Men, Paperboy, Qbert and more. Its not a huge selection but I appreciate having a piece of arcade history so close to home. Theres also plenty of places to dine nearby. Definitely worth checking out.

Never got a chance to go here. I made a booking, and unfortunately only read the ratings afterwards. I called within two hours of making the booking, only to find that this business does not refund deposits, even at that short turnaround time. I have never heard of a business behaving that way. The website said nothing about deposits being nonrefundable. All my protests were to no avail. The saleperson said they "couldnt do it" because the machine wouldnt do it. The credit card company, however, said that all the salesperson had to do was call and cancel the charge. I would not trust my money with these people.

I love this place alot of the games are 5 cents to play and they have the old arcade games for free play...I think they are remodeling and getin more games or might be closing the place..I just hope they stay open so I ca n keep bringing my kids here

I came here to play retro games, definitely a good place for that. A lot of the ones I wanted to play were free or one nickel to play. More expensive ones were 6 nickels, still cheaper than most arcades by far.

Air hockey, skeeball, arcade games, some arcade games dont work, and some are glitchy, they used to have bands play in the side room, maybe they will again someday

This was the best place when I was a kid. Wow, I love this place. The games are awesome and obviously not expensive at all. Still, this place is awesome.

Its really gone downhill. More machines were broken than functional and took so many nickels it was almost more expensive than a regular arcade.
