Ill give my review from my perspective, then you can make your own judgment: Im currently doing my AFF schooling to get my skydiving license, and I thought this would be really good practice to work on control, but the way the instructor did it was just pretty awful. I did a four-minute session, which I thought was going to be done in one minute intervals, or maybe even two, two minute intervals, but it was one minute, and then three minutes. After the first session, it was good because the instructor told me a little bit of what I was doing wrong, and then I went in again (after waiting a long time for the other people - long lines) for a three minute session. During the time, he was trying to instruct me on what to do, nonverbally, but I had no idea what he was trying to get across the whole time, and they turned the speed way down, so I was basically floating on my stomach for about two minutes, working on turning, trying to decipher what he was saying. At the end of it, he was able to use words to describe what he was trying to say, which was nice, except that we were done and I wasnt able to practice what he said. So that was just lovely. I would have had a much better time if the instructor wasnt even there and I could have just floated around and figured it out on my own. Pretty much just a big waste of money and time. I guess you just need to find a time when they are not busy at all, then you can work on your own things, or maybe do the acrobatics course, Im not sure how it all works. Im just going to stick to jumping out of planes...

Holy jamoly was this an experience! For being only a few feet above ground, its still a very terrifying experience for those that are afraid of heights. I dont think Id ever go actual sky diving but this in itself, did a very good job simulating that experience for those that are less ballsy like me. Its a lengthy process before you even get your turn in the giant wind tunnel, but they show you a safety video on how you should have your arms and legs followed by suiting you up, and then putting you in there for your turn. Theres an instructor inside with you at all times, so find comfort that theres someone always watching you. My first experience inside was terrifying, and the 30 seconds - a minute that youre in there, feels like a life time. But rest assured, the second time is not as bad and for about $10/$15+ more, you also get the opportunity to have the instructor take you spinning up and down the wind tunnel! Which, although I was very nervous for... it was extremely fun the second time going in! Highly recommended for anyone thats considering sky diving but want to experience something that simulates that before doing the real thing!

Warning Groupon Coupon Holders: We just left iFly after being refused to participate. Our flight time was for 730pm and they suggested we arrive 45 min early. We were just over 5 minutes late and they said we needed to pay $20 per person to rebook. The clerk said we needed to watch a 10 minute video and it had already started, so we needed to rebook. Im still unclear why we needed to be there 45 min in advance for a 10 min video. This was not communicated when we made the reservation. This is an obvious scam for those Groupon coupon holders and is their attempt to offset the groupon discounts. The clerk claimed that this was stated on the groupon voucher, so when we looked through it together, there was no such warning. This was quite disappointing as my kids were looking forward to this for weeks. I left a message for the manager who never returned my call. I highly recommend avoiding this place--good luck to those with groupon vouchers.

I was intrigued by indoor skydiving ever since I was a young lad when I saw it on Evening Magazine circa 1982. I always envisioned a huge cylindrical chamber full of people in Michelin Man type outfits flying around bumping into each other. Its not really like that--the chamber is small and transparent, and its only you and your instructor in there (with a bunch of onlookers watching from the bleachers or with their noses pressed up against the glass). Oh, and also very fast--you only get 2 one-minute sessions. Its definitely an interesting experience, albeit a short one. I felt like just when I was starting to get the hang of it, my instructor grabbed me and tossed me out the exit opening. Maybe thats the way to get you to come back for more. I really wanted to spend a good half hour in there...but Im sure Ill be back again sometime.

Used 2 Groupons yesterday. Everything was great. They did tell us to get there 45 minutes early, we actually got there even earlier than that. Filled out some paper waivers, and went upstairs to sit and wait. We were early but were able to watch other peoples experiences which was cool so we knew more what to expect. We really didnt go watch the video with our group until 3:30ish maybe (our appt was at 4 and we were there at 3, supposed to be there at 3:15). WE got 2 jumps each that was 1 minute long. Pretty awesome experience. Got our dvd of our flight, our groupons each had one but we just got one since we are a couple. Everyone there was very nice. I even saw a few poeple show up late for their scheduled time, they missed the video, and still let them fly....so who knows guess it just depends on whos running the front desk?

Our group definitely had no experience skydiving, but we had a blast! The flying is easy, and the instructor custom-tailors each flight to the persons skills and comfort. Our instructor was Ben, and after watching a slightly cheesy video, we got into the tunnel area, after which our group members flew one by one for a minute each. Then you rotate and do it again. So in total, you fly for 2 minutes. The first minute, you do basic flight, and he may either flip you or spin you (I got spun, and it was awesome!) The second time, he flies you up and down in the tunnel. Both times, the instructor gives you signals to make sure youre flying optimally. The time never seems to be enough, but its definitely worth it. Most out group also purchased photos for $5 each. At the group rate of $50/person, we loved the experience!

A short but very unique experience. The flights seem quite short (2 one-minute flights per person for the package we chose), but they are sufficient to enjoy the sensation of flying. Also, the duration is comparable to the length of freefall in real skydiving, with fewer risks. The price is slightly steep, but overall its a fun experience that is worth doing once. Note that heavier people will have a more difficult time getting lifted, and beyond certain threshold its simply not feasible, so be sure to check the FAQs on their website before visiting.

Im scared of doing the real thing - the real sky diving so the next best thing is to do the reverse - getting thrown upwards by air flowing underneath you. Totally enjoyed it and I would recommend going again and again. Took my wife and went on my birthday with a Google Offer deal that gave us 2 tickets for the price of one. So overall had a blast. The only complaint is that it lasted very short - the actual fly time is like 1 minute rounds of 2 to 3. Thats sad. Wish for 90 bucks they allow us to fly a bit more.
