Location is A+! Yet rooms are overpriced for blistering paint, water stains on the ceiling, and worn out carpet. Bathtub was severely chipped and faucet and simple plumbing fixtures throughout, not well maintained if at all. Hallways and stairwells, and window panes vacuumed or maintained NOT once in my 5 day stay; appears to not have been done since sometime last year maybe... Ice maker out of ice by 9:00 am, but bring your waders, because there is a deep mud puddle that surrounds the machine. Last filter change noted as "summer of 2015." (The ice should be a good vintage, then, right?) Wait staff in the bar and restaurant too busy with busy work to be socially normal or cordial. (Im on vacation, impeccably dressed, sitting alone, and with a huge smile on my face.) So if you hate your job, or people in general, maybe tourism -especially a tennis club/golf resort- isnt the right industry for you. I befriended a house cleaning staff member who was very accommodating and friendly, and appreciated my kindness- but my kindness seemed very foreign to her, like maybe the management mistreats their employees. When asked for a late check-out the last day, Instead of being asked questions or being offered a small morsel for a meal, was simply told no. Get with the times, Morgan Run. Customer Service is lacking in so many areas, and often the ROI is immense. ... Neat patio or tiny balcony off each room, overlooking the 3 golf courses. KCup coffee in the room- nice touch... Rooms are very large, because of the structure being a few years older.Outdoor landscaping and design is immaculate, lush, and apparently kept current. Very ambiguous review, I know. As a positive person, I enjoyed my leisurely mornings overlooking the perfect golf courses in the perfect weather. As a business owner and business woman, there are great glaring needs to be filled here.

My recent stay at Morgan Run was Friday, 9/12/14. I travel quite a bit and have the opportunity to stay in hotels which are sometimes amazing and others which sometimes are hitting the mark. Sadly Morgan Run, is one resort that does not hit the mark. The grounds are decent. The pool is nice, although they kept running out of towels and were only brining about 6 new ones out at a time on one of the hottest days of the year. The gym happens to be well above average. Upon check in there was a nice young man who was very helpful and pleasant. The rest.... The hotel feels old and run down. The carpets in the hallways are absolutely filthy. The carpets in the rooms are not much better. The beds are old, the pillows are awful, the old wall air conditioning units sound are so loud you can barely hear the tv unless its very loud, let alone sleep soundly. Massive spiders outside on the screen door, and silverfish in the bathtub were waiting for us. The decor of the room itself isnt just outdated its old ruined peeling and cracked. Getting room service was its own challenge. I called 4x and got the voicemail to which no one responded. I finally walked to the restaurant and ordered from down there. The food was decent but as is customary I placed the tray outside the room to be picked up but it sat there literally all day. The last time I saw it was about 330pm that day at which time it had ants and flies all over it-right outside my room! I was very thankful I wasnt staying another night. My advise would be to find a newer cleaner room in the area.

If you want the wedding of your dreams Morgan Run will execeed it! Our event coordinator Anna Williams was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She created a BEO, or our wedding bible, if youre OCD and like things completely organized she is your lady. If youre not the most organized shes still your lady, as she will lay every detail out on a timeline. Even with last minute changes while the wedding was going on Anna remained poised and would adjust things effortlessly. The whole team at Morgan Run was beyond helpful, polite and professional during the last eight months. They are very prompt to respond and treat you like you are the queen, after all you are you only get this day once. People told me to expect something to go wrong and know it will be OK, that id be the only one to notice...Our wedding played out to perfection without a single mistake. Anna was in contact with all our vendors through the entire process. The day of, it was so awesome to know everything was going well and she would even come check in to make sure we were happy. We were escorted with our photographer and videographer on the golf course to all the best photo spots and even our vendors were raiving they loved this man. I let them know the entire staff was this awesome. It is honestly the perfect venue. I would highly recommend this venue and our event coordinator Anna Williams to any couple wanting a beautiful and stress free wedding.

We ate here for the first time tonight and the food was decent, not amazing, and pretty pricey ($21 for a tenderloin spinach salad). We must have waited 30 mins or more for our food. It took WAY too long to get our food (so frustrating, especially because we ordered as quickly as possible when we got there knowing we only had so much time) and there was hardly anyone in the place. If our waitress had come around more when we were waiting for our food, I would have asked her what was taking so long...but she was MIA the entire time. :-/ grrr The servers were nice but I couldnt help but notice that every single girl waitress had messy hair falling forward sloppily out of their pony tails. They definitely need to tighten up the hair pulled back rule. One was clearly wearing it loosely as a style...they did not look professional or very tidy. They looked sloppy. Anyway, the restaurant/bar was nice and the view was great. However, the wait for our food was unacceptable and made us miss our next engagement. Had to reschedule the evening. That is the reason for my 2 stars. NOT happy.

Horrible club! Poor service, filthy kitchen, terribly trained staff. Miserable employees. Dysfunctional club. I cancelled my membership due to having advanced breast cancer, and gave the club months and months of written notice. They require one months notice. Over a month after I cancelled my membership, the club kept billing me and Kevin, Lori, and Tatiana in the membership office keep sending me bills with late fees of $22.05 tacked on per month. They refuse to credit my account. Today they told me they are going to ruin my credit. I now have to take them to small claims court for money I dont even owe. The membership office is very unprofessionally run. Kevin the director loves to argue and drone on and on, trying to argue their bylaws. Its like dealing with kindergarten children. Food service is slow, and unprofessional. The waitstaff doesnt have a clue. Horrible club with poorly trained staff. Calls to management are not returned.

The golf here is 5 stars. The fairways were in great shape, as well as the greens. Nice warm up and practice area, driving range, chipping and putting area. Upon checking in, the lobby, restaurant area has had a mini facelift, food was tasty as well, service was decent. Now why I didnt give 5 stars...the rooms really need serious help!!! It looks as if they tried to update a bit with minimal expenditure and it shows. My room the paint was peeling off the ceiling, the wall nearest the bed had been gouged big time. The repair to this area, just some paint slapped over it, no spackle to even it out the surface, just a quick paint over. The common hall way carpeting was DISGUSTING, and Im being nice here. If they would just put some money into this place; it has soooo much potential, seriously. It could, I mean could rival RSF Inn, it has the potential for an amazing wedding venue as well. The owners just need to cough up some $$$ for improvements.
