The Annual Los Angeles County Fair at the Fairplex in Pomona during the month of September is a fun group outing for friends and family. The quantity and variety of rides, arcade games, concerts, exhibition booths, food and the animal showcases is enough to keep the most demanding friends entertained. It is one of my favorite summer outings in LA. Weather tends to be warm in September, so late afternoon or evenings are usually the best time to go to avoid the heat. You can also detour through the air conditioned exhibit halls to cool off and see your favorite As-Seen-On-TV products. Lol. I recommend riding the two chair lifts to the end of the park and work your way back so you dont end up exhausted on the far end of the Fair. The chair lift is also my favorite ride as you get to relax, enjoy a little breeze and get the best view of the grounds. Its the best place to see spectacular SoCal sunsets. Parking can be a bit slow and crowded depending on the time and who is having a concert that night. Some popular bands can get the complex pretty jammed so check the concert schedule if you want to avoid crowds. They also hav an Uber/Taxi drop off area which can be faster to get in during busy times.

Fairplex is the home of L.A. County Fair in city of Pomona. It is more than just county fair, since the fair only last like 5 weeks. The rest of the year, they held many smaller events. Usually only use couple of the exhibit hall. Parking is range from $10-15 depend on the event, theres really no other way get around. The bus doesnt really go here and really force you to use their paid parking lot. Theres no street parking anyway in the area. This place is a bit out of dated, and could just some remodel. It does stay its true theme of County Fair in all year around. Not many known this, this was one of the location that possible Disneyland might be build. But because of the weather and kinda too far from most city that pull the plan off the table.

I cannot believe that there was one place that you could purchase food that was real and all the corn and meat is obviously GMO and no one at the fair seems to care about our health as they dont offer a choice nor did they have any health education there either. With one of 3 people having cancer or Diabetes in our Country and parents out living their Children for the first time in all our Generations you think a huge event like the LA County Fair would capitalize on the opportunity to at least educate the Public that both of these and the # 1 Killer which is Heart disease are all directly related to and curable from diet! NO !!! NO !!! No !!! The All Mighty Dollar is king still - So I will not ever be going to the fair again.

Pretty fun place to check out a festival or sporting event. I attended the Day of the Dead festival and the grounds were laid out well with both indoor and outdoor stages. Beers werent too bad at about $8 but you had to stay within special beer garden areas to drink. Most notably, the traffic and car situation to get into this place is a mess. After you pay, stay to the right and try to get into a parking lot as quickly as possible before they wind you half a mile away from where youre trying to go. Parking is a mess here but it really is a great location to throw a show without neighbors complaining.

The Child Development Center is exceptional. Our son spent 3 years there and he loved it, and we loved it as well. After he was done there and he tested for 1st grade at his new school, the teacher was very impressed. He was more than prepared for First grade. The CDC has a rich program with fantastic staff. Call check it out for yourself and compare with other development centers in the area. I guarantee you you will choose this one.

My boyfriend and I went for the Winternationals at the Fairplex this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it is set up to host a big crowd. The most awesome thing was the clean bathrooms that were kept up throughout the whole event. I even saw an attendant there to keep things tidy. It never felt like they didnt have enough space or facilities for the large amount of people. And the races were super fun to watch!

The fairplex is where the Pomona fair is held. Its a great time for famiies to walk around eat and enjoy rides. There are a variety of vendors for shopping- random items which is great for those things that you never thought you needed and would add to your life. They have a great wine section and wine tasting.

Large two room suite with a very comfortable firm memory foam king size bed. Well maintained. Our room was near the elevators and the sound of the elevators was noticeable at times but not really annoying. Sensitive people should request rooms far from the elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The LA Fairplex has been a site of great fun for me over the course of 9 years. You dont really need to participate in anything there to have a good time. Since it has many rides and attractions during the late summer, I suggest you go. Its a relatively kid-friendly place, and everybody is welcome.

Pomona is a slum. The fairplex parking lot is not secure at all and doesnt have enough lighting. Numerous cars were broken into Septermber 5 2014. Gangs of thieves roaming a public place like this is some third world country!

This is home to many great events like the Los Angeles County Fair, the NHRA, and other smaller cultural events. Parking staff is helpful and so are all the help desks. Come with money since there will be food you will want!

Year round this is an amazing place. The Millard Sheets Museum is amazing and does so much for the community. The Farm also is a great local resource for fresh local produce and education.

Very fun during the La County fair I recommend it for everyone who can make it there. They have a nice fireworks show during 4th of July watch it from my porch 2 minutes away

The one thing that pisses me off about this place is the exorbitant cost of doing just about anything here. Im surprised they dont charge to go to the bathroom.

Really good just needs more places were people can sit and relax and also shade so far no problem that cant be fixed over all I give it a 9 out of 10

Been here for a few events and its been good. Its a bit run down in some of the buildings, but good overall. The LA fair is usually here every year.
