I stayed here back in October (13-16) but didnt have the chance to write my review until now. First off, the hotel is very nice, rooms are great. Staff and how they assess issues - not so much. My room had a huge leak in the sink area, beginning on the 15th. I called down and waited over 30 minutes for maintenance to come - they never came so I went back to Disneyland assuming they would come while I was out. They still did not come. When I got back from Disneyland late that evening, I saw that the leak was still occurring. I then called down again and they said, "Maintenance has left for the evening, so there is nothing I could do." I then asked for their Night Audit guy to come up and see the leak so we would not be charged for any damages. It did leave a stain in the marble countertop. He said he would note it and said the only thing he could do was move us rooms. This was very disappointing to see nobody had come to the room and that there was no maintenance available. The leak SOAKED my entire makeup bag, my hairbrush, my towels, EVERYTHING. And all he could say was "Sorry they wont be able to fix it until tomorrow," despite us calling down during the day to have it fixed. The second issue was that I had to call down in the middle of the night on the 14th for extra towels. When I called, I received NO ANSWER from any of the lines. I called housekeeping, the careline, and I even pressed 0 for the front desk. Nobody answered. So I had to go down and pick up the towels myself. It was very frustrating, especially because it was so late at night. After the maintenance issue, I just felt like the staff did not care about their guests and when I spoke to the staff about it upon check out, they said, "Okay, we will note it. Thanks for letting us know." --Not too sure how this was a way to "Make it Right." I also did not like how the manager noted that I was a team member at the hotel when speaking to me. It was an instant degrading feeling - as if I werent important. Oh and I thought it was clever that they did not email me a survey after my stay.... Ive gotten one after every stay at a Hilton property. I must note that even being a team member, I am only about 10 nights away from Diamond - the standard amount it takes to become diamond. I would have appreciated better treatment than what I received at their property. I am a GSR as well and I was shocked by the service I received. Wont ever be going back.

I went to trip advisor to look for a hotel to stay at while visiting disneyland and the most popular seemed to be this doubletree so I thought I would give it a try. When I first drove up I was worried because it looked kind of plain from the outside. The parking was nice, there were plenty of spots on a Saturday in the summer so pretty good. I walked in out of the 97 degree heat and it was great everything looked brand new so that was a good first sign. Next I went to go check in the guy was very nice and gave us cookies which wasnt huge but it is the little things that you appreciate. Next he set us up with shuttle tickets to disneyland(3$ each roundtrip) which is basically a trolley that services most of the hotels on harbor dr and comes every 20 minutes. I was also pleased we were able to check in at 11am. The room was a king size bed standard and was very nice with a really comfortable bed and the bathroom had some excellent neutrogena face wash, lotions, etc. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and really nice desk. The TV looked new and the decor was very nice. The previous two nights I stayed at the Marriot by the convention center and it was very old looking and there was none of the extras this place had. Also there is wireless in the lobby areas, I found a nice set of tables by the restaurant. The in room internet cost extra but to my surprise I tried the wireless in my room and it worked just fine since I have my laptop to search for any nearby network and there are so many hotels with internet floating around everywhere. I gave it 4/5 stars just because it is not a 5 star hotel which I wouldnt expect for this price. The only negatives I can think of are the view wasnt all that but not a big deal to me and the elevators were strangely slow but we never had to wait that long. It seems like this place got a major remodel except maybe they just kept the old elevator system. Tip: There is a Target store just up the street where you can get snacks, water, sunscreen etc for target prices

It starts all with a warm cookie at check-in and continues with complementary water bottles in your room of you are a HHonors members. The hotel is very clean, facilities are up to date and the rooms are huge. Youll have two queen beds and in another room a sofa and table as well as microwave and fridge. Shower and bathroom are again in separate rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable too. Try to get a room on top floor and youll have a solid view over Anaheim and surrounding area. Especially when you wake up and can see from your bed Palm trees you know you booked the right hotel. The other great thing about this hotel is that you can walk to Disney Land. It just takes you about 20 minutes and youre right at the entrance. If you are traveling for several days or weeks youll appreciate the laundry rooms. For just 5 dollars you can use all the facilities and also get washing powder. Parking is just right in front of the hotel and is 17 Dollar a night. Thats not cheap but simply the price you have to pay in the area. A short walk away you have grocery stores and a few restaurants. Overall an excellent hotel in perfect location of you plan to Anaheim for Disney Land or a business trip to Convention Center.

Im an Hilton Honors member with a 20 plus year relationship with the Hilton all over the world. I was told I had 20 minutes to leave or the police would be called. WHY? Because I offended another guests Grandfather when asked if I was from LA I said "To me LA stands for Lower Alabama" where I have family. She and I were having a light hearted conversation, her boyfriend was part of the conversation and her grandfather was nowhere to be seen. I never saw her speak to the front desk manger who moments before was listening to me complain about my treatment yet somehow he feels I insulted a lady with what was a meaninless quote from a song. I doubt the young lady was upset but even if she was HOW did I offend anyones grandfather who wasnt even there and WHAT buisiness would that be of the Front desk manager? Lastly-HOW does that warrant ANYONE Hilton Honors Gold member or NOT having the police called? Is the answer Im an African American the young lady and her boyfriend were both white? The Hilton has video and Ill be curious to see how the front desk manager will explain this.
