Had a terrible experience here. Ill give them a little bit of the benefit of the doubt -- I was here on what was probably one of the top 5 busiest days of the year, 2 days after Christmas. Still, the service was so bad, I felt compelled to post a review, and I almost never do that. First of all, it took them FOR-EVERRRR to take our order... again, very busy night, so Id normally let that slide, if the service was otherwise good, but it wasnt. My son ordered mini cheeseburgers. They brought him mini hamburgers without any cheese... so when the waitress came back, we mentioned this. She said she would take care of it... 15 minutes later, after my son had decided to go ahead and eat the burgers without cheese, the waitress comes by and brings us a little plate with a slice of American Cheese on it. What?! On a normal night you should have taken the burgers back and brought new ones with cheese on them -- that wasnt going to happen on this night because it was so busy, but at the very least offer a discount or comp the burger portion of the meal! Bringing us a slice of unmelted cold cheese on a saucer was practically an insult! Second problem: We ordered drinks before the meal, and got them shortly before the meal - so far so good. The waitress asked if we wanted second drinks -- nobody did except myself, so I asked for a second Rum & Coke which was the drink I already had. 20 minutes goes by.. no second drink. Finally the waitress shows up and asks: "Would anyone like anything else? Maybe a second drink?" Uh, yeah, Id like the second drink I ordered 20 minutes ago. Now its too late and I just want the check so I can get the heck out of your crappy restaurant. Make sure I dont get charged for the 2nd drink. First time in my life I was ever compelled to not leave ANY tip. Wont be going back to this location.

Das boot! Das boot! I have been waiting forever to say that. Year after year I always find some lame excuse to miss Oktoberfest. I almost missed out again. Originally the plan was to go to Old World in Huntington Beach but a fluke food poisoning accident put me on the sidelines. After seeing an event posting for House of Blues Oktoberfest, count me in! The entire event was outdoors and normally Im not a big fan especially when it rained a little in the morning but can you say no to Bratwurst and German beer? NINE! I meant "no" but my German isnt great. I convinced myself outdoor events are still fun and I liked downtown Disney after the Elite event a month ago. Plus Im always a fan of free parking. I ordered the all beef footlong and it was delicious. Thats what she said. The sad thing is I didnt notice the Bratwurst at first so that was next. Both Wieners were grilled perfectly. Thats what she said? It was one of the best Ive ever had. Not bad for about for around 5 bucks. The atmosphere was okay. I drank a lot of beer and was with good company. There was polka music being played and this place was neither a Beerfeast nor BOOBfest, but hey this is Disneyland and Im still an Oktoberfest rookie. Although one server was very fine, I dont know the German word so post it in a comment to me. Service was friendly and attentive.

Poor quality service, and food experience. I unfortunately ate at the House of Blues restaurant. For the first time in history, I came across a restaurant that cracked the impossible code of being able to produce a DISGUSTING ceasar salad. The waiter asked if I would like everything in the salad including tomatoes and onion. I said sure. When I get my plate, there were more onions in my salad than lettuce! And to make matters worse, the onions were NOT fresh, so the rotting onion taste soaked into every piece of lettuce, adding the prominent taste of burnt TAR that couldnt be masked by even a gallon of dressing! I had to eat all the tomatoes just to get the putrid taste out of my mouth. The waiter comes over and asks how it is. I tell him there are way too many onions and its almost like eating a disgusting onion salad. He LAUGHS and says he asked me if i wanted tomatoes and onions and I said yes, as if that justified the poor execution of the salad that I was too disgusted to eat. Then he walks off without a word, without offering an exchange or solution!!! He waited a while and dropped off my check. I cant believe i paid $15 for just the salad and tip, seeing how it was such a disgusting experience. Noone made it right, therefor I will never eat here again.

When my daughter went here a rent a cop security guard violently accosted her. Her friend had a metal object on her keys so threw it away since it wasnt allowed inside and then went back through security. After telling the security guard calmly that her and her friend threw it away and will gladly take it from the trash to show her since she didnt believe them, the security guard called them both "stupid" and roughly patted them down. Then, my daughter had to talk to an idiot manager who again told her she was stupid for throwing it away. It was a $2 key chain that wasnt allowed inside it was much SMARTER to throw it away than check it in for $7. What baffles me the most is that my daughter and her friend told the security guard MULTIPLE times that they can retrieve it from the trash if the security guard didnt believe they threw it away. My daughter is a sweet blonde haired college student and did not deserve to be yelled at and violently patted down for attempting to follow the rules. She will never be back and has had many friends not go to shows to avoid the disgusting way security guards treat customers. This place is honestly looking for a lawsuit.

After paying almost 30 dollars a ticket, we entered the venue 15 minutes after doors opened. This is undoubtedly usually early enough to get a good spot for a show. Upon entering we found that the upstairs was rather crowded, so we decided to head down. THEN were told that the floor was at capacity, and they would only be letting people down on a one for one basis. As in ONE person from the floor comes up and ONE person goes down. We headed back inside to see if we could find a spot upstairs, and there was virtually nowhere, crowd 5 people deep had formed and seeing anything going on on that stage was NOT happening. To make matters worse, they section off 2/3rds of the upstairs for VIP and only let about 6 people in. This was only 15 minutes after doors opened and as more people showed up it got more crowded. If you werent on the floor, or the first 2 rows deep in people, you were watching the show on the TV screens. HOB Anaheim - ONLY SELL AS MANY TICKETS AS YOU HAVE SPACE INSIDE. TELLING PEOPLE THEY CANT WATCH THE SHOW BECAUSE YOURE AT CAPACITY IS NOT OK. IF SOMEONE HAS BOUGHT A TICKET, THEY GET TO SEE THE SHOW.
