Excited to go on a hike, we followed Google Maps to the address of the trail head. We found a path and began our journey. Within minutes we looped back to exactly where we started. After spending another half hour trying to find trails (bushwhacking), we ended up giving up. Later studying the map of the area, we realized that the trail head is not properly identified. Observe caution and make sure to look at a map before going there - the directions take you to the wrong place to start.

The trail is very easy coming from the Oasis Senior Center. It leads straight to the Buck Gully trail and then you could choose to go straight to the San Joaquin Hills. Or turn left for the Bobcat trail. I liked the sound of water cascading from the sides while hiking.

This place is amazing! What a gem tucked away in the middle of suburbia. Trail is amazing, well thought out and well maintained. Be courteous to those who maintain the trails, without them it wouldnt be there!

Amazing hidden gem in the valley between San Joaquin hills and New port coast. It features a pleasantly remote single track with a few bridge crossings. Wonderful place for a hike or off road bike ride.

Beautiful peaceful trail only down fall is no dogs allowed on this trail. I didnt realize this till after we left. Still had a great time thou.

This is the lost heaven! All of a sudden the highway turns into a magical uncanny canyon! I cant describe it. Do your homework and get there!

Great place to hike. Rarely see anyone in here. Youd hardly even know this exists right in the middle of suburban sprawl.

Excellent trails, can catch glimpses of wildlife in the brush. Theres also a cool ravine you can walk along. Free parking.
