Fantastic collection. Yanks doesnt have an outdoor area like Planes of Fame or March have, but what they have on display is immaculate. High-end car museum immaculate. They have a really nice group of civilian bi-planes from the 20s and a nice summary of history for each one. The restoration area was a bit of a let down. At other air museums Ive been to, the restorers love to give you the ins and outs of what theyre doing. These guys have a sign telling you to leave them alone. Oh well, still very worth the visit. This and POF would be make for a great day of museum crawling. Edit: Yes, they do have a bone yard w/ a very nice collection. The day I was there it was roped off and one of the staff (who knew his stuff, btw) had to escort me around. Not sure if that was SOP, but I enjoy being able to wander around the collection w/o taking up someones time. Still a 5 star museum!

Used to stop here all the time before heading to the Planes of Fame Airshow. I come to the air show to watch planes fly and talk to youngsters who are interested in seeing planes do what they do best "FLY". Im a WWII Tuskegee Airmen Red Tail Pilot, Korea and Vietnam was veteran. The Airshow is a great place to meet up with my old flying buddies and remember what it was like to be in our particular aircraft. I cannot understand how your love for aviation and how many new customers will see your museum during the Airshow can be any better without it. I hope the courts listen to the public because this Airshow brings more business to others and the city than to worry about little ole you. Pull up your big boy pants and let the Airshow make continue until then I will not be coming to your establishment

In an effort to educate everyone else that isnt aware of whats going on, Yanks has joined a lawsuit to stop the Planes of Fame airshow, claiming economic hardship. This is patently ridiculous considering that all an airshow would do would get more people through their doors to do exactly what people do at airshows: go see planes. The reason for this lawsuit has nothing to do with its stated purpose. Its been done out of pettiness. They are selfishly sacrificing the joy, education and community spirit of aviation out of pure spite. Anyone who loves aviation and passing on their passion for it would do well to go somewhere else. Id rather show my daughter a beat up old Cessna than take her here.

Sorry I cant recommend Yanks Air Museum, even though I am a huge supporter of Aviation Museums. The recent lawsuit against Planes of Fame Air Museum and its airshow have shed a true negative light on this museum. News travels fast in the aviation community. Aviation enthusiasts and history buffs here in Arizona wont be supporting travel to this museum after learning about its most recent action. Yanks Air Museum is obviously not a true supporter of the preservation of aviation history. Nobody in the community wants to freely support such a negative establishment.

Very sad to see a supposed air museum using the courts to attack a well run, historically important, and extremely popular air show. These people are an example of what is going wrong with our country now. Im sure they sit around at night in their homes and express disgust about what our infighting lawyer/politicians are doing, and then they come into work and hire lawyers to start a legal fight because they dont want to be inconvenienced by an air show at the airport. Now who is disgusting?

Super clean facility, admission not bad. Even though sign in restoration area says to let restorists work undisturbed, they are super friendly and love talking to you about their projects. They even let you walk in the boneyard! F18 (Blue Angels #7), F14, drones and many more on display inside. F16, F15, 2 Thunderchiefs, F4, DC3, Connie and many more in boneyard and outside. Very cool and laid back atmosphere.

I was so impressed by the selection of aircraft at Yanks Air Museum. I was so happy to see the UH-1 Huey there as my grandfather was a pilot of this helicopter. I believe there are over 200 aircraft. They have a boneyard and restoration area where you can see the mechanics restoring the aircraft - its very impressive. They also have a cute (aviation-themed) kids ride (first ride is free).

Yanks Air Museum has filed a strategically timed lawsuit against Planes of Fame in an attempt to halt one of the most popular air shows in California. It has nothing to do with money, as they are open every air show, Yanks Museum is the first museum you come across when entering the event and most of the event parking is directly in front of their museum.

My friend and I took our three year old boys here for the open cockpit and the boys had fun, but us Moms had a hard time keeping them out of the ropped off areas where the planes were. It seemed very pricy for what it was. The museum is small and not an appropriate place to take young active children.

Amazing airplanes, wonderful displays, really informative staff who are genuinely excited and willing to talk for hours about Aircraft ! And you get to go into the working hanger and watch them build/restore new aircraft. A great place for anyone who loves aviation history.

The most complete collection of American aircraft across the span of aviation anywhere. Their goal is to have every aircraft flyable and as close to original as possible. Their focus is on aviation technology and includes everything from Target drones to rockets.

Avoid this museum at all costs. They are using years of donations to fund a baseless lawsuit against the Plane of Fame Air Museum in an effort to cancel the annual Chino Airshow this May. If you support aviation, then dont support Yanks Air Museum.

After what has transpired over the past 24 hrs I will no longer support this museum. Its sad that they and 2 other business cannot work out issues with Planes of Fame who have been organizing this Airshow for more than 30yrs.

Incredible variety of aircraft. From the boneyard to fully restored, vintage WWI, WWII and more. Lots to see, definitely worth it. The personal tour of the Super Connie from an actual flying member was the icing.

Good layout of aircraft, given the space available. Licensed A&P technicians work to maintain select aircraft, operationally airworthy. Staff helpful in providing technical information. Will return for another tour.

Took my boys for the Open Cockpit Day and they had a blast. Staff was very welcoming and provided a lot of details on the aircraft. Yanks also has a cool kids ride (first ride free).

It disappoints me that these people disrespect the aviation community by wanting the Planes of Fame Airshow to get cancelled. Thats no passion for aviation. Ill never go here again!

I have great memories at this museum. I also love the Chino Airshow. General Aviation is under attack on so many fronts. In my heart, this betrayal from within. The worst kind.
