Basuras! Theyre thieves!! My husband got his $400 Hugo boss shoes stolen from his room. Miserable bastards. They dont even know who they have working in the hotel. Be careful with your personal belongings, they dont make themselves responsible for what happens in the hotel. They should be more serious and organized. Trash!!

Ive never stayed there but I can comment on the area surrounding MB Marriott and there valet service. Valet is really good I never see anyone wait longer then 2 minutes for their car or a taxi. There is always someone waiting for you even in the late night hours. The hotel is immaculate and is location is right next to the arclight theater, golf smith, and my favorite restaurant Grimaldis. Its also a 5 to 15min (driving) from the; beach, Ralphs supermarket, freeway, and galf course/driving range. 5 minute walk to the Manhattan Beach Mall and a few restaurants. All in all a great place to stay if your on business, or on a get away with your significant other.

This usually my favorite hotel to stay in when Im in the Manhattan Beach area but this time I was disappointed. We had an unusual smell in our room, we should have said something but got in late and just wanted to sleep when we woke up it seemed to be gone. So we went out and were gone all day. We got back to the room late again and the smell was worse. I complained in the morning they offered to change our room but we were leaving. They should have offered something else even a discount to a next stay but nothing was offered. I will probably stay there again because there is not many other choices in the area but I will try to find another place first.

I travel regularly with business and unfortunately the Marriott Hotel Manhattan Beach (due to a company relationship) is the hotel where I stay while in LA. It is a terribly run hotel. Such as reservation mix ups and misplaced Fed Ex deliveries. With the exception of a few lovely staff, most of the staff are used to a high turn over of hotel guests and their attitudes reflect this. This results in a unfriendly and unprofessional enviroment. The majority of the bar staff have to be the most guilty of this behaviour. I would not recommend this hotel, unless you have to find a convienient location for a nights sleep.

The Hotel was very nice good location and view and the staff was very friendly. Only complaint when I called to make a reservation the lady told me it was free parking and I couldnt get a military discount unless I booked a second nite and only the second nite would be discounted. Well Iam glad I called back and talked to someone else received my discount for one nite and found out parking isnt free not expensive though ( for other reasons we were given free parking) I would definitely stay here again when Iam back in LA and would recommend it.

This is the second time Ive attended the International Pen Show and this year it was far too crowded, but otherwise Ive no other complaints. The Marriott is a good venue for it, giving ample space for all the venders, plus they have lightly flavored water near the front desk for anyone to drink. The location isnt bad, its got a nice view of a golf course, though parking can be expensive if youre just there for the day. The parking garage leads directly to the hotel, though, so its a pretty quick walk to the building.

The location of the hotel was great. It was super easy to run out to get something to eat within just a few mins. The employees were wonderful, made me feel welcomed. I love that they also come in and tidy the room and restocking what well need. That made my stay very clean and comfortable. The only problem I had, was that there was no microwaves or refrigerator to store and warm my food. Other than that I had an amazing experience. You should definitely give it a try. Guaranteed youll love it the way I did.

The staff from the Valet service (Kirk) to the check-in and room service was excellent. Good location. However, the rooms smelled very musty and my concern is the growth of mold in the carpets and fabrics. This is an area of indoor air quality that I am very familar with as the company I own remedies these problems. So I suggest to Management that a specialist comes in soon. I am not looking for you to call me as I am a Canadian citizen and not interested in performing the evaluation for you.

This place is a total rip off. For the cost and location this hotel is totally not worth it. You get nothing for free, they charge $17 a day for parking, $13 a night for internet. For half the price you can stay at another hotel in the same area and get free breakfast, parking, internet. The rooms are not even very nice and are poorly laid out. The ice machine on my floor was broken and I did not even have a fridge in my room. I changed hotels after one night.

Friends/family stayed here for a few nights...rooms were very clean and well-appointed. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced for such a nice setting and the view out on the golf course was pretty solid. Staff was very friendly and would go out of their way to say hello. Breakfast was a bit on the pricey side ($8 for a small bowl of oatmeal and $5 for regular coffee...Thanks Obama). Umbrellas for loan was very convenient on this particular visit!

I was at the Marriott to assist a friend at his booth at the LA Pen Show. Nice facility, clean, gorgeous south view, friendly personnel (shout out to Priscilla!) The continental breakfast for exhibitors in the morning was much appreciated, and the food that passed by me later looked and smelled really good. A positive experience for me - only thing maybe to work on was the balky and problematic exit gate pay kiosk from the parking structure.

The hotel looks beautiful from the exterior as you pull up on the driveway, with majestic palm trees and fountain. Once inside, it feels a bit underwhelming with its big sparse lobby that feels somewhat incomplete (limited seating area, and seems to be under development because there are pics of floor plans posted on easels). The rooms were clean but outdated. Overall, a decent experience but I prefer something a little more contemporary.

Alright stay, the hotel gets the job done. Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke and we had to wait overnight to get switched into another one since they were booked, but at least they moved our stuff for us while we were out and about. The rooms otherwise are fine, nothing else amazing or irritating. The exterior definitely needs a remodel, whoever the architecht was either didnt have a lot of budget or imagination.

I stay at this hotel often.. several weeks a year for business travel. Never had any issues with reservations, the concierge is OK, the one at the LAX Marriott is better (noisy - planes). The rooms are always nice and clean, and smell fresh. They recently remodeled the bathrooms, the shower is huge, but it doesnt have a bathtub. You can walk over to Housons for a great meal, or Johnny Rockets for a burger.
