A short course with fast greens. Longer hitters at Wilshire will be forced to work the ball either way off the tee or else sacrifice distance by keeping the driver in the bag on a number of holes. The par 5s offer excellent risk-reward opportunities as they are guarded by water and strategic bunkering. While not as hilly as Los Angeles CC or Bel-Air CC Wilshire will offer a variety of subtly side-hill lies. The members at Wilshire tend to be athletic, accomplished golfers. Accordingly, pace of play has never been an issue. Wilshire is always fun to play.

This is one of the more pretentious places to blow your money along Wilshire that doesnt come with a blowing type job from someone else in return just to start the experience off... Thay is unless you are one to indulge in such activities of give and take and if that is the person you are then just talk to Chap behind the bar and hell square you up and get you feeling something kinda normal in no time. Tell him Ron Chico sent you.
