Beautiful Place but full of thugs. Our car got burglarized and so is the car near by. Police is aware of this situation and local authorities are not doing anything about it. There are no security cameras on premises or security guard at all. All multimillion dollar villas have private security around their properties. Basically it is an expensive location right next to a San Pablo which is a nearby ghetto town. Beautiful rocky beach hike and view was destroyed by this unpleasant burglary experience. My business bag with a laptop and ipad is gone forever so are the belongings of my son and my wifes stuff. We were passing through from San Francisco Bay Area to Lego Land Carlsbad for our sons 8th birthday. He is still talking about - and that was in April. Make sure that your car is empty. Locals are aware of this problem. A lady who walks her dog there every day informed us that it is happening every day.

Seriously best golf experience ever.. Ive played all over the world, and this is a top 5 golf Mecca.. the golf course was in perfect shape.. very difficult track, but if was easy who would want to play? Except maybe for insane ocean front views on every hole and green.. The service was amazing in every facet, from bag drop, valet, starter, ranger to the wait staff.. I could not ask for a better day.. If anyone who rated it one star actual knew how to swing a club and have played any course in their life they would rate it a 5.. Its that good..Its unbelievable people would rate this course a 1/5 because they dont like the President... How sad and honestly scary... By doing that less people will play one of the best places to play in the World..As a 4 handicap I would encourage any golfer to play this course and judge for yourself.. You will not regret it.. I cant wait to get back!

Its a very picturesque course, but I wouldnt play it again. The cost is way too high, and we were harassed us numerous times for pace of play. We were by no means taking too long, but we felt like we were being rushed through the course. They need to do a better job of staggering tee times if this is an issue. Its completely unreasonable to expect everyone to finish a round in less than three hours! The pro shop was nice. The staff there were friendly and helpful, but again, prices were exorbitant. Luckily I didnt need much but a few extra tees. Overall, Im glad I got to play the course once, but I wont be back. While some of the staff were nice, others were quite rude. It really ruined the experience. I play golf to relax, so having someone breathing down my neck every six holes or so was very much unwelcome.

We didnt come here to play golf nor support Mr. Trump. We just happened to be driving by and saw a nice view. Then decided to park and walk around. There are some walking trails on the golf course that lead to the shore. Some trails are paved, some are dirt road. There are also some walkways that are for golfers only. Choose your path carefully. There arent any signs pointing you back to the parking area, and no maps on the golf course itself. Luckily we remembered the hole numbered closest to the parking lot. The club house restaurant is opened to the public, but we did not want to give Mr. Trump our business. Might return for a longer hike and a picnic.

Ignore the one star reviews and their comments. I assure you they are NOT golfers! More than likely they are trying to diminish the owners name and know nothing about the game. Ive played Kiawa Island, Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach and a few other "trophy" courses and Trump National Los Angeles is equal in every respect. Actually the views of the Pacific and Catalina Island are prominent on every hole on the course. Spectacular tack. Go play it! Youll be glad you did. And, be sure to speak with Manny the starter. Extrememly friendly and brilliant man that greets golfers in their native language ( he knows over 20 foreign languages)! Cool dude.

Been here few times, thats before the election when I didnt know much about him. THe service is horrible since they are always busy. For about $100 per person is not worth it at all.. The view is nice but its not located in the best part of PV .. Not too many variations and overall the quality of food is just ok.. NOTHING SPECIAL.. I noticed a lot of people were just out and about having their own food on the greens.. I would def suggest that over dining here.. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE.. when Im paying 400+ for breakfast/brunch and no drinks, I expect if not great food great service and unfortunately that was not provided. I will not go back

Recently played Trump National and had a great time. Started with breakfast, the food was wonderful. Also had lunch there afterwards, everything was top notch. Course was in terrific shape, greens are faster than they look. You really need to golf your ball around this place, it is a challenge for sure. Ocean views from every hole, tight fairway grass, well manicured bunkers, super place to play. Manny the starter was very helpful and friendly, all the staff are very professional. Go play if you get the opportunity.

The ocean views are great. The course is in good condition. Just doesnt live up to the hype of being a luxury club, but has the expensive rates. The rental clubs are not great, the bag was worn out, the stickers on the clubs had never been removed and were quite worn. Only saw the cart girl once the entire round. The sand in the traps looks nice, but are very hard just under the surface. The cart GPS keeps bugging you to rate the course as your favorite. Overall not a great value.

Looking forward to a great dinner which ended in a mess! Recently i had gone to dinner with my family from outta town to show them the view and great food so i thought, but when the food came out the my Steak was overcooked,the service was horrible, and the only nice thing about the place was the location! If you looking for a great dinner with good service and a view i would say go down the street go to fantastics and get your food to go and sit on the beach!!!

Trump Golf Course offers more than just golfing! Ive dined inside their restaurant, which was delicious with great ambiance, but pricey. Ive brought a picnic to hang out in their grassy/picnic table area, and Ive even hiked some of their trails. The trails arent too difficult, somewhat hilly, but not steep. Although I havent attended a wedding here, but Ive seen the staff members set up for weddings. Theres almost something for everyone here!

Notice all the lovely 1 star reviews left by these keyboard warriors who have never stepped foot on this course let alone know what golf is. This course is AMAZING regardless of your political preference. Beautiful greens although they are pretty quick. Breathtaking views of the ocean to accompany you as you play the course. This course should definitely be added on your "Golf Course Bucket List" to play on! Cant wait to go again! MAGA!
