SO if you happen to play here just remember the literal dozens of high speed golf balls flying around ; why you may ask? Because for some odd reason the parking lot sits RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the course and if youre car gets schwacked with a ball, or the mirror destroyed, or your WINDSHIELD then its not the courses fault. . . Theyll point to a rickety sign when you drive in and take your money and wave bye bye. The manager there at the property was nice, and his hands are tied (understandably so) to do anything meaningful other than maybe free golf lessons etc...But several people Ive heard recently have been driving by when a curve hits their windows and then all the staff can do is (point to the sign and say sorry, and look at the cameras for someone dumb enough to flinch)........I had my window busted near this community where (Yes barriers shouldve been erected, since its YOUR property and not the property of the local apartments) its hard to not get it whacked...What happens when a little old lady gets dinged in the head and dies? WIll you point to the sign then? NO! Youre going to get sued, and theyll own your golf course. Simply put the OWNERS give two craps about you or your property, wont seek to reimburse you, and will not even call you to apologize (why should they? Theyre filthy stinking rich you peasant!!) So go play put put at a place that (if you drive your Audi or Bently into and have it dinged that theyre gonna say "sorry bro, you assume that risk playing on our course" without so much as a whoopsie daisy. I was already hard up for cash , being that Im the definition of a near homeless veteran living pay check to pay check already; I didnt need 380.00 in cash flowing out of my pockets 4 days later when I couldve used it for food or rent money I barely had. I personally would never give ANY patronage here (nothing against the nice workers), and would love to see the establishment tilled under partly to make way for a nice jogging park or athletic venue because leadership like the owners ways is what gets places like this sued successfully because someone REALLY gets whacked (outside of the course theres a few pedestrian traffic spots open to full view of any number of thousands of possibilities on a weekly basis). True story.

9 hole executive golf at its finest. Played here numerous times, and absolutely cannot get enough of the layout. Each hole feels completely unique, and with three par 4s (albeit short drivable ones), it really serves as a stepping stone for golfers looking to make a step into a bigger course. Something about the feel of this course is very addicting, and it has a rare duality of not only being challenging, but a great stop for beginners. There is no driving range (simply no space), but it does have a practice putting area, and you stop by the clubhouse after the third hole, which is great for grabbing a drink or snack on a hot day. Never had any issues with service; all the guys in the clubhouse are very friendly and accommodating. Conditions are great for executive golf; nothing amazing, but its well kept, especially in an area that is ruthlessly starving for water. The only real con? Its 9 holes. This means everyone starts on Hole 1, and on busy days, it can be tough to get through quickly, especially since it attracts beginners. Obviously you cant hold anyone responsible for this though - it is what it is. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone. I have a few scratch handicapper friends that I play with constantly, and we all love this course!

Hands down - favorite course in Southern California. Played with my Dad a few weeks ago for his birthday, and it was FREE for him. Free golf for your birthday! I didnt even know, and the manager told me that as long as you have a valid ID, its free! Also, and Im not positive, but I do believe he stated that any repeat rounds are free as well! I mightve misheard him since I was so surprised, but Im pretty sure he said repeats were free as well. You cant beat this place.

booked 18 holes through Click4teetimes and after 9 holes the starter demanded we pay for a replay. although we had proof of purchase we still had to pay. we felt we were ripped off by Click4teetimes but mostly by the management of Bixby Village golf course. we wont go back to this course.

This could be a nice little course if they kept it up. The greens have always been poorly taken care of and the traps have no sand - just dirt. They have recently raised their rates to $15 which is a bit much for nine short holes with poor greens.

Affordable , well kept and quiet 9 course, but still challenging. When you stop at 7th hole, support young entrepreneurs selling lemonade for .50 cents & golf balls for .25 cents. Cute kids!

Really a fun executive course. The layout is interesting and the price is right. The only negatives are that there isnt much sand in the bunkers, and the greens are shaggy and slow.
