We stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding group. The wedding reception and some other events took place here Friday and Saturday so it would only make sense to stay here, especially considering Im the best man. My wife and I checked in Tuesday and were planning to stay until the following Monday... We checked out Friday morning. I noticed people complaining about the $18/day parking but that was the least of my issues here. The entire property was under construction. We did not receive any notification that would be happening during our stay. A simple email or heads up when we made the reservation would have been nice. We were woken up by 8 am the first 2 mornings. Normally Im up at 7-7:30 am but Im on vacation so I dont need anyone waking me up early. I asked for extra towels the first night and received a couple that looked like they were freshly used to wipe someones behind. It was disgusting! Trying to have a conversation with anyone in the front lobby was nearly impossible over the drowning sounds of drills and saws going on. Our stress levels were increasing daily and to top it off, Friday morning was the final straw. Being the best man, I of course had to plan a bachelor party which we did in Beverly Hills on Thurs night. Needless to say, I made it back to my room around 3:30 am and had prepaid tickets to go to Disney the next morning around 10 am. At 6 am we were startled by a voice over the intercom system saying something along the lines of "the following siren is just a test" followed by a fire alarm sort of siren repeating the guys voice then the siren for at least 4-5 mins. I tried calling down to the front desk but apparently they woke up the entire hotel and everyone was calling down. I flew down to the lobby to voice my complaint but was beat to it by other guests. Half of the guests for the wedding just flew in the previous evening so this was a great first impression for them. After not being able to go back to bed after the sounds nearly gave us a heart attack, we didnt make it to Disney so our $300+ went to waste. We spent the next few hours packing our bags and making reservations to check into another nearby hotel. This made the next 2 days extremely inconvenient having to go back and forth repeatedly since we had to be at this hotel for the events of the wedding weekend. Probably one of the worst hotel experiences Ive ever had and Ive traveled a lot! To make matters worse, the manager offered to comp the next night for anyone staying there Friday night but not for the previous nights when we dealt with the issues. Not sure how it makes sense that guests who just checked in on Friday received a free night when they werent there suffering through what we did. He stated this to my face after he watched me drag one of my suitcases out to my car. Just seemed like a slap in the face to me. I doubt Id stay or ever recommend anyone to stay here.

Before booking at this hotel, we were very specific with what they had to offer as far as room service and if their kitchen could accommodate gluten allergies. We also let them know that our five year old child was staying with us. Not only were they unable to accommodate any gluten allergy (their idea was to put a burger on two pieces of gf bread instead of a bun), but there was nothing on their menu that we could have had, and we had to wait 10-15 minutes for an answer when this didnt seem like an issue after waiting on hold for an answer when booking. They couldnt even provide gf French fries, which seems weird since potatos are gf by nature. The room also didnt accommodate having something ordered from room service since there was only one chair and no table to eat at for three people, only a desk. Theyve recently remodeled the hotel and the lobby is very nice, but there was no water pressure in our sink and the hot water wasnt turning on. It seems like theyve had the hot rerouted to the cold side, and the cold comes out warm with no pressure. Also if you have small children and need to bathe them, forget staying here cause the permanent glass enclosure is a half wall and doesnt fold out enough to allow one to get to the water spicket. It was a challenge, to say the least, trying to give my little one a bath. Upon checking out I called the front desk and the gentleman said he could check us out over the phone and gave me a total which included the $18 parking fee. When I saw the charges on my card, the $18 was charged separately and the price quoted upon checkout was just for room and tax. It doesnt seem like their staff is very well trained and they just sugar coat and yes you in order to book rooms. I definitely wouldnt recommend staying here unless youre in for a business trip and plan on spending time eating out.

Great Hotel, Room and things to do. The reason for my 1 star...and I wouldnt leave even one star is due to customer service. I also contacted them privately over a month ago and have yet to have a reply. We were in the area for a tradeshow and only staying one night. We flew in early in the morning arriving at the hotel around 8 AM. We checked in, the room wasnt ready(to be expected), we left our bags and were told that all we needed to do was come back to the front desk and our keys would be waiting for us. We left for the tradeshow. My husband was quite tired in the afternoon from our early flight etc. I called the hotel to check to see if our room was ready. They said it was and we could come get in. I made sure he was on the room to pick up the keys and they confirmed he was. I stayed at the tradeshow and he went back to the hotel. When he went to pickup our keys they told him he needed my credit card that I reserved the room with and that it hadnt been swiped yet. Although it was already showing on my statement that it was. They wouldnt allow him in until I arrive back and I was not able to come back any time soon. He continued to plead etc with them. No luck. Not even the manager helped. But somehow he was able to get our bags out of the bell desk without the tag?! hmmm. OK. He sat in the lobby for nearly 3 hours. Finally, he went back up the the desk and a new girl was working. She said oh no problem here are your keys. You have already checked in Im not sure what the problem was. Nothing was done for the inconvenience and not even a reply for a sorry from the hotel. Bad customer service.

The Furnishings in the rooms is sparse. They seem to have really cut back on a lot of normal items such as ample enough drawers comma sitting table and chairs comma amenities and room and the bathroom. As well two days in a row we did not receive replacement coffee cups so that we can make coffee and tea in the room. The bathrooms didnt seem like they were really very clean. For the price I felt it is a very low value as other hotels in the area are better equipped and maintained. The food served for the workshops was repetitive and boring over the four days we were there. Some of the food actually did not taste great, vegetables served one day tasted like there was dirt in it. It was the same day that two people I know came down with stomach issues one thought she had food poisoning from that Buffet. They kept using the same chicken and beef each day and also had Mexican food and Pizza which are not very healthy. They also ran out of certainty back some of us liked and I have to actually request that they supply enough for these very long all day and night seminars which seems to be ridiculous. They just dont seem to pay attention to the finer points of people staying and having to go to workshops there.
