We saw Todrick Hall at the Grove in July 16. The Grove has a large parking area and well trained parking attendants who kept the line moving and got everyone parked much faster than I had expected. The seating area itself was smaller than I had imagined when purchasing tickets, which worked to our favor; when we asked a seating attendant to point us in the right direction, we were happily surprised to see him heading right up towards the stage. We had seating so close I could easily see the performers face. The Grove also has conveniently placed large, flat screen TVs that feed out the performance for those that want a super close look. The seating was comfortable enough, we were hip to hip, although once the show started nobody cared :p

Great venue! I saw Arch Enemy there for the 2015 Summer Slaughter Tour and last night I saw Dope. Great venue, looks awesome, and has a patio in front where you can get some fresh air if you like in between sets. It has really good sound and lighting, too. The security there is also very respectful and they dont pat people down, which is a MAJOR plus because I cant say that about every venue that Ive been to (namely the Observatory OC). The only major downside is that the parking costs $12, which is kind of ridiculous IMO considering that they share a parking lot with the Angels Stadium and they dont exactly have limited parking. Id recommend carpooling with a friend and/or getting a Lyft/Uber ride there.

I went to see the Maine, Lydia, and a few others here and the sound was horrible. It sounded like the mics were turned way too low and were drowned out by the music. I know that usually the music is louder than the singing sometimes, but in this case, unless the singer was yelling, you could barely hear them at all. Other than that, I really liked that there was a lot of space while still feeling close to the band/stage, the interior was nice, and there was plenty of parking. Maybe that one night that I went was an off night for the sound but it was so bad that I left a little after halfway through the show and wished I hadnt wasted money.

Nice venue but no pictures! The csc staff go crazy there trying to keep all patrons from talking pictures. They will push your hand down, block the camera shot, and flash a light in your face. Its LAME because we pay big bucks to see our favorite artist, only to be treated like children when we are all just trying to enjoy ourselves. I recommend going somewhere else if your band or artist has another so Cal show. THIS PLACE SUCKS, NOT CONCERT FRIENDLY . Since when cant concert goers go home with some memories of the experience....

Really rude and disrespectful the worst visit ever he made my whole evening horrible first time and only time for sesame street my 6 month didnt have a swell time due to the time taken by his harassment and lies. Having security harassing us about video when all had their flash and phones recording. Really?! A day after buring my father on fathers day he is so shady and harassing. He knew my situation did not care. Wow! I love staple center they have better behavior to address you and solve your problem.

I took my parents here to see WAR play through the hardest of their hits on the penultimate day before the new year and happy was all that I did. The big selling point Im basing my stars given here is on the table seating that was available and waiting for us when we arrived. While enjoying my 805 lager and moving to the groove of the classic "Spill The Wine" being played out in acoustic bliss out of their jam band fashion WAR has always been know for whenever preforming live.

Im not a fan of standing room only events, however the City National Grove has the best possible standing room only layout in my mind. By breaking the venue into multiple rows of standing room only you dont have the surge of people crushing you against a wall and the crowds generally seem good natured. Also the security and service personnel keep any lines moving quickly and are efficient without being rude. Have always enjoyed events that have been held here.

Worst venue ever! Dont ever go here. Most venues will put you back in the pit if you cross the boarder. These guys just threw me out. I(and my friends) will never see a show here again. Sorry vandals we have followed you every year since LA. No more, god forbid I jump up on stage, at a Christmas(dressed as santa) and then I get kicked out. Dont buy tickets at this venue. They done care about true fans

My first time going to this venue on Saturday personally its a nice venue to throw shows at! Im from L.A. and its one of the nicest venues Ive ever been and the staff was nice here and they werent strict unlike some venues I had been to before.The acoustics of this venue makes the band sound so bad ass! Hopefully I get to come back to this place again till next time Anaheim m/

This is the best concert venue I have been to. I watched countless shows in NJ, NY and PA. I have been to many venues. This is the best so far. You can see the stage from everywhere. There are 4 tiers so everyone can see the stage. Best so far. I wish every concert was here. Parking is very expensive ($12). It should be free.

Came here for the Led Zepagain show and it was great. The tiered levels of the GA floor was good for wandering until finding the perfect spot. Just watch out for bad vibes, that is something the venue cant prepare for. The front of the Grove is great for pictures as well, well lit and a nice place to relax after/before the show.

A very cool performance hall. I saw a metal concert here where tickets were for standing room only. I imagine the place could accommodate chairs and tables, too, depending on the form of the entertainment. Looked like a nice place for a comedy show or a rock concert.

We did a video shoot at the City National Grove and I loved this venue. Definitely looking forward to coming back for a concert in October but the staff was friendly, place was clean and I love the Art Deco-type feel.

Came here for an Aquabats concert, and a company Christmas party. Both were really fun. The Grove does a pretty good job at organizing and hosting events.
