I am water man. I was kicked out early. Justifiably yes and no. They are good people. I can tell. And this is close to mavericks... so what do you want? I think I was kicked out because I was still going out tho. I had clothes over my wet suit. And once they saw that I was kicked out... maybe too intoxicated. I dont get it... but I do. This is a secret. You cant f with the ocean... but if you see an Ausie sitting on the beach waiting for more than 6 hrs. You should call it in....

Food: 4 Decor: 3 Service: 4 Came here with a friend on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Half Moon Bay. 1. Silver star burger with bacon, 9 ~Really good. Definitely one of the best burgers Ive had, although the size was rather small for the price. I was still hungry afterwards and ate some of my friends teriyaki bowl. 2. Teriyaki rice bowl with tofu and veggies, 10 ~Pretty good. Im usually not a huge fan of teriyaki rice bowls, but this was probably the best Ive had.

Great place with great food attached at the silver star grill. Couple of coin-op pool tables with a weekly tournament on Tuesdays. Surf boards line the ceiling donated by surfing legends. Sports memorabilia line the walls and for big games they attract large crowds. Biggest little music house on the coast with an open mic acoustic night monthly.

The best bar/cafe in Half Moon Bay by far, if not the west coast. The owner and Allie the bartender are good genuine people. Thats hard to find these days. We felt so welcome. Thank you for such a great experience.

Always a good vibe, all the bar tenders are awesome, and the owner BO does great things for the community so this is a great gathering place. Come for a drink, pool, friends, and dancing, and leave with a smile!

I was there for an hr..and i personally witnessed one deep argument and a fight out front involving a kitchen fork on one side and two car loads of guys laughing...All of which the bouncer paid no attention to.

Just went last week. Nice bar to grab a beer play some pool or watch the game. The guys that own the place are great. Friendly place to just chill. will be stopping next time were in the area.

Theres excellent restaurant mini restaurant on the north side of the bar in the same building they serve excellent fish dishes especially fish sandwich

They offer some good ipas, the foods not bad, and theres 2 pool tables. Other than that, the security guy they have working there is a douchebag.

Most of the pool cues were straight and its a full bar. Saturday night is crazy. Sunday night is lazy.
