Its a classic stadium, and the renovations done did help significantly. But its still too crowded of a space, with below-par concessions, and there is zero shielding from the elements, so good luck if theres rain, because they ban you from bringing in umbrellas. Additionally, the ticket scanning / security for the game I went to was a complete joke. 2 lines were servicing hundreds of people at each gate, for some reason, when there were 2/3 of the entrances at each gate closed. Why?

Ive been here for several games and its a mess. Its about time they renovated this dump. The bathrooms were miserable and so was the horrible seating. The whole atmosphere was disgusting with all of the frat boy boozing and nasty language. This is definitely not a place to take your family or children. The students seem to want to act like Raider fans. Even with a remodeled stadium, the attitude wont be changing.

This is one of my favorite College football stadiums. The whole stadium is one level it is more like the roman coliseum than a regular stadium because there are no 2nd and 3rd decks where you are so far away you cant see. I sat in the very last row and I felt like I was right next to it. also the location is wonderful and you can lookout onto san fransisco if you look out on top of the stadium

Great exterior, clear organization and walkways to seats, a ton of concession (of course) but the most confusing seats, they have two numbers as if they changed how they had wanted to number them but never removed the old numbering convention. Got some folks pretty pent up trying to figure it out. Ask in though a great venue.

I give this 4 stars because it was closed down for a whole year. I havent been to the stadium before the renovation, so I dont really have anything to compare it to, but the new stadium is really nice. The field is really clean, and I think its really nice that they have local vendors such as Top Dog cater at the event.

They spent a lot of money to renovate this place, but they forgot add restrooms. I was shocked to find that I had to use portapotties. Theres also no place to hide from the bright burning sun since theres no overhang. One great thing about the stadium is the location. It sits close to campus and downtown.

When are in or around this stadium, you must wear Cal Bear fanwear. The games here are filled with crazy, good crazy, college students. College football fans are here and alive, and special games you might get to jump onto the field after games, not officially permitted. GO BEARS!!

One of the most spectacular places in this country to watch college football. The stadium is classic and the newly refurbished facilities make this a world class destination. Dont miss the amazing views of the Bay and back to San Francisco.

Rows are packed in so closely together, its impossible to sit comfortably. Replay TVs are awful. Stadium was built a long time ago, which probably explains its inadequate design. Spare yourself a trip here and watch the games on TV instead.

Memorial Stadium is a great place to watch football. The press box and extra deluxe seats have sumptuous bay views. I prefer sitting on the East side by the students. Bring your sunscreen and dark glasses!

I went on a very sunny day and it was quite miserable. Hats are necessary during the football games as their is very little shaded area inside the arena.

Its a great, newly renovated stadium. But parking is problematic. I recommend taking BART to Downtown Berkeley and then walking 20 minutes uphill.
