Disappointing is the best way to put it. Yes it is a beautiful stadium, but take a 2nd look at some of the smaller details and it becomes a mess and you ask yourself where did all the money go? If you visit it for yourself, keep in mind that the Metrodome cost around 55 million to build, US BANK cost over 1 Billion. If you can accept that fact, then remind yourself that MN tax payers had to put up %50 of the money while the owners must be swimming in profits after selling every inch to some kind of sponsor. My main complaints are did we get our bang for our buck, and who the heck is responsible for the everyday operation of the stadium. Overall I compared my experience to both the Metrodome and Target Field, as I felt that it should exceed both venues. Most aspects are an improvement from the Dome, however not as significant as the price would lead you to believe. This stadium and the experience I had inside, does not come close to Target field. From the outside, it is a beautiful looking stadium and much better than the Dome. Walking in through the front doors, you gaze out upon a giant open feel stadium and a beautiful field. However that is where the good stops. As you continue to look out at the field, you begin to notice an excessive amount of bare concrete everywhere. The dull gray makes it look like they didn’t quite finish everything yet. Walking to our seats was a horrible experience. The stadium has little to no signs to guide you through the concourse. The concourse themselves seem only slightly bigger than those at the Dome, and there were several concession booths expanding out into the concourse creating bottle necks along the way. The seats themselves were fine. Until people around you being to sit down and stand up and you realize the shaking that takes place and the feeling that the whole row is going to fall backwards. The cup holders are made out of a plastic that will defiantly be destroyed within the first season. The view of the field is quite amazing. However good luck finding information pertaining to the game such as what quarter it is, time left, timeouts… They littered the stadium with sponsorship logos, and forgot that people are there to watch football. Surprisingly, there is NO 24 hour time clock. If you want to know what time of the day/ night it is, you better have a phone or watch nearby. I know most people do, but still a very surprising oversight by the design crew. The bathroom situation in US Bank Stadium is unbelievable. This was a problem I felt needed to be and would be addressed in the new stadium. The amount of bathrooms and the amount of stalls in each bathroom is far below what is required for a stadium of that size. It is as if, they didn’t actually expect that many people to every show up for a football game, concert, etc… I sat in the Medtronic Club. For a very high price you’re sold “Most exclusive and upscale venue experience in the stadium” Based on my experience here, I became very displease and would go as far to say that some if not a lot of people need to be fired. First off the design and décor seemed to be taken from someone with zero experience. The lounge is nowhere near capable of holding the 1,100 person club comfortably. I showed up with a little over 60 minutes to game time and there were lines for food and drinks already stretching around the lounge, and zero seats left in the lounge to sit and enjoy. The “All-inclusive food, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages” was limited to less than desired food, some domestic tap beers, and pop. Before the first half ended, they had ran out of several food items, napkins, plates, spoons for the soup, bloody mary mix, paper towels in the bathroom, toilet paper, and more. It was an utter disaster. The staff was somewhat friendly by unbelievably slow. There are a number of problems that can be easily addressed and fixed, but there are also some that unfortunately were a complete oversight that we now have to live with for the next 30+ years.

Absolutely Beautiful. Theres room to move. Im there with a handicap walker and theres room enough to where people arent running me down. They have so many food choices. Of course its Stadium price very expensive. $17 for fried cheese curds $10 a beer $6 for a hot dog. Its some place that you dont go to very often. So enjoy the whole experience. The glass doors at the front of the stadium absolutely beautiful. I have to say it is one of the funnest dates Ive had with my husband in our 30 years. I saw a side of him I have never seen. It brought me absolute JOY. Never have to wonder what I can get for birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years. You get the picture.. The only downside is who designed the bathroom? Well they certainly didnt have a woman anywhere close to help them not make the big mistakes They did. They get a black check mark for the restroom. Also they need to train their ambassadors a little bit better. We got told to go this direction by one Ambassador than to go that direction by another Ambassador. We walked around for 30 minutes before another Ambassador actually knew his stuff. To my complete suprise he relocated us. Our seats were upgraded to the bottom section , to the right of the end zone. When the huttle was at our end around 10 yard I thought to myself, " I BET I CAN THROW THIS POPCORN AND HIT THEM ON THE HEAD OR I COULD JUST EAT IT". That was so awesome that he took into consideration that I had a walker and I probably looked like I was about to expire.. So I say kudos to that particular Ambassador. I wish I would have gotten his name. The seats that this Ambassador sat us in were more comfortable than the Stadium seats. There was a glass partition that separated us from the last row of seats on the bottom tier. No obstructions. HOW COOL IS THAT.. THANK YOU US BANK STADIUM and VIKINGS. I have not enjoyed myself like that in 16 years. My birthday is 9-12 and I couldnt celebrate because like all of America my heart was broken into a million pieces. I could find no joy amoungst the unspeakable pain. This year was different. I gave myself permission to celebrate life while still remembering victims 9-11. Honoring them by celebrating life amount all different people from all over the globe. Found something in common. If we could all find things we had in common it can break down walls of hatred and we see one another as just human. We breath, we bleed, we live. We die We are all the same in the end. This game was the back drop for healing You have my loyalty and support. Signed with love.

Went to the opening. It is an amazing stadium with great sight lines and nice large clear screens but I was actually slightly disappointed. The exposed concrete brought back memories of the metronome and looked cheap. The bathrooms are basic and concourses seem too tight still. Exterior is a black slate thats already really dirty as people are writing their names on the dirty siding. Seats are still little plastic seats in 95% of stadium. Food/drink is insanely priced. $6.50 for a 16oz fountain drink is embarrassing. Fans should seriously start protesting the robbery after paying for the stadium now have to pay those prices. I didnt see many if any sitting areas either. Im still disappointed it wasnt a retractable roof as the glass is nice but still doesnt feel right. I didnt see much technology other than strange sideways screens throughout which is stupid. No tailgating. Stadium shouldve been built in Arden hills not downtown. Ill be honest I think its going to be outdated rather quickly and compared to Cowboys stadium its a POS. I have no idea when they plan on opening the big glass doors and dont really understand the point of them. Overall nice but I expected a lot more for the cost.
