Dear Beer Supplier with the Portland Timbers: Since your contract with Widmer Brothers Brewing your selection of beers have been bleak. Finding a alcoholic beverage other than Widmer, Cider, Bud or Bud light at Providence Park has been like finding a needle in a haystack. If fact I am now wandering the concourse and missing the game unable to find a decent beer. The Portland Trail Blazers has a great selection of beers other than their sponsor in the Moda Center. Why cant you realize that you should listen to your fans and not sponsorship dollars. I have spoke and emailed with my customer service representative (who has informed me that he has forwarded the complainants to his supervisors) many times over the past seasons asking for for local craft kegs to be placed at specific locations spread out evenly throughout the concourse and have received no response. This lack of response is a disturbing realization that the Portland Timbers organization does not listen to season ticket holders or its fans.

Providence Park is home to the Portland Timbers, a team whose fans are just as exhilarating to watch of the game. While not the largest stadium around, its a beautiful stadium with a well thought out layout that allows for easy exit and a good view from nearly anywhere in the stadium. Food is expensive as expected, though the Tillamook Cheddar stand is the definitely a great deal. The Macn Cheese Dog is delicious and guaranteed to fill just about any appetite, without emptying your wallet. If you want to truly experience a Timbers game, get a general admission ticket and sit in the Timbers Army. Its been described as a religious experience, in which youll get in touch with your tribal roots as you are caught up in the chanting. If you do sit in general admission, makes sure to get there early. If not you may end up stuck the upper corners, which have a limited view of the field.

Great game day experience, staff working at the gates and concessions are always nice and helpful. The facility is unique in that it is an old baseball stadium that has been converted into a soccer stadium so you are able to see old relics and architecture from a long time ago (including smaller restrooms and clogged-up concession stand areas.) The general admission seats are pretty small which is to be expected in a nearly century old stadium but the experience of game day more than makes up for it. Getting to the stadium is a piece of cake whether it be on a bike, train, or car. Be prepared to shell out a bunch of money it you try to park near the stadium, if you ride your bike and are a season ticket holder there are also guards that watch over bikes on the bike racks right outside the stadium on Timbers game days.

#RCTID #BAONPDX We live in Soccer City, this pitch is home. A few notes...its ONE SCARF ONE SEAT in the T.A. People get really possessive but truly, saving a row of seats with a single scarf is just rude. There are chant sheets available at every game, theyre helpful if youre new. If youre from out of town dont act like a dick. Your airbnb adventure doesnt have to include standing like a confused 6th grader in the front of the T.A.. Just buy reserved seats if youre interested in soccer and enjoy our awesome teams. And another note, support ALL our players and dont talk smack. If you want to coach, there are plenty of clubs that could use someone with a sense of the game...but our players and coaches are there for a reason, they know what theyre doing. Just have faith and enjoy the match.

Wait, whats the name again? Its funny with all the changes that the former PGE park has gone through I think that it just keeps getting better. I would definitely recommend sitting in the GA Timbers Army section at any soccer games because they are the most fun, but the way to get the most free stuff is to sit in the Key Bank Club. Free soda, hot dogs, pretzels and candy that the people will come bring you in your seats. Theyve also been partnering with local chefs so if you stop by the buffet in that section youll probably be happier than last year. The crown jewel right now is that at the south end of the field they are featuring food carts in one of their concession stands, if youre hungry, try that before you get pizza and hot dogs.

Im very upset, I got a ticket from the gas station saying I get 2 tickets, so I drive there and the lady at box office is like we are not giving these tickets away, we are saving them for people purchasing them. Which is bs, why would you give these vouchers for tickets with fill up. The box office lady was very flirty with the man who was in front of me, with her see through black shirt, showing her cleavage. And was not very nice to me. I will make sure everyone I know hears about the horrible customer service Ive received from you. No apologies from her, im extremely upset this happened, Ive come here a lot will never happen again, wouldnt spend my money for a company that doesnt live up to hype False advertising

Its difficult to tell whether or not this outdoor arena is as great as it feels or if the Portland Timbers games are just that much fun, regardless of where they play. However, I used to frequent the park before the Timbers existed, when it was where the Portland Beavers played minor league baseball. And even then it was an excellent place that offered such a great atmosphere, wed forget we were watching minors. Its gotten some upgrades since then and along with the Timbers, this place is a haven. One of the most exciting places to see sporting events. Its now a place that American soccer fans should experience, like the Wrigley field of baseball or the The Swamp at the University of Florida (in their prime).

We are casual soccer fans and happy that our home teams, the Portland Timbers and the Thorns are doing well in the standings. Both teams get lots of love and support at Providence Park from their respective fans. The venue has a capacity of 22,000, and the venue staff are friendly and helpful. You might think getting into and out of Providence Park would be difficult with that many people, but the venue is designed so bottlenecks are kept to a minimum. The light rail/MAX runs right to the park. Weve observed a number of people parking at the Sunset Transit Center and riding the MAX in for the match. Hope youll join us!

Jel-Wen field was recently upgraded when the Timbers took over fully as Portlands soccer team. One of the really cool aspects for Timbers games are the selection of rotating food carts that are hidden on the inside of the field on the south end. Its a great way to try some of new food from portlands best food carts. If youre in town for a Timbers game some of the best seats are ovbiously in the Army section, but the corner of the stadium in the NW section are also great seats with a view of the entire stadium. Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) members have a unique view from the club, overlooking the field.

The atmosphere of a Timbers games is outstanding. After going there for my first time, I was sold as a Timbers fan. The brews that they have on tap are great, and reasonably priced if you show up within the first hour after the gate opens (I believe its 25% off the normal price). In addition, the stadium does a great job at inviting various food carts, and pretty delicious ones if I must add, to the stadium and serving their own food. When going to the Timbers game, it is always a great night to go with your friends and let off some steam with the Timbers Army chanting and screaming. #RCTID
