Sky Bar is where I like to be anytime of the day! During the mornings and throughout the day, my favorite is getting the iced or hot mocha while playing Scrabble or shooting pool. Best coffee drinks in town! The atmosphere is great - open and airy, and good music playing over the speakers. In the evenings, theres something going on every night of the week. I love places that support and promote local talent, and Sky Bar does just that. Theres always a fantastic display of musicians, comedians, artists...not to mention the excellent baristas, bartenders and astronomy lovers here. I love the cocktails and wine, especially the Hawaiian mimosa and "The Painkiller." As for Brooklyn Pizza Company next door, what a super bonus to have hand-tossed pizza or my favorite calzone - The Flatbush Feast - and yummy garlic knots delivered to Sky Bar. Good vibes here!! <3

Wife cut her foot on broken glass and bouncer just said "I dont know" when I told him about it and asked him for a first aid kit. I had to walk behind the bar to get any help where I got yelled at. A bar tender finally got me a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and some bags filled with some gauze a small bandaide and some creams which where about as useful for wound care as toothpaste and Preparation H. After she set them down on the bar she did ask where the broken glass was to clean it up. Nobody ever asked if she was ok. The only staff that talked to us after that was the bouncer who told us we cant stand there. I thought the bouncers job is concerned with safety. On the bright side we get to go get a tetanus vaccine for my wife today.

The Sky Bar is a unique staple on historic 4th Ave. that invites customers to peer into the cosmos during the evening hours. Several telescopes are available on the patio for your enjoyment. There are plenty of bartenders to get your handcrafted drinks quickly, even during busier hours. I recommend their dark and stormy with housemade ginger beer. The Sky Bar features local music sensations every Wednesday night and is a great choice for millennials and older generations alike. PS. You can order a slice of pizza at Brooklyn Pizza and have it delivered to you at the bar.

$1.50 Lattes $4 Breakfast! This place has better lattes than Starbucks. Came here on a Groupon and will definitely be back. PROS: Absolutely delicious breakfast calzone served with fresh salsa. Very friendly staff. Easy parking. Very inexpensive alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks including $2 Redbulls. $2 well drinks and $2 draft beer during happy hour. Cool atmosphere with 2 giant TV screens. Environmentally friendly. CONS: Waited 45 minutes for food after ordering and the place was not busy.

Generally a good staple to begin or end your night. It has Brooklyn Pizza Company next door so you can grab a slice to settle your stomach no matter what time it is. The events they put together can make for a great bar for some weekday drinking assuming you live close. The telescope comes out on the weekends and nothing can match enjoying a rum and coke while you stare at Venus or Mars. All in all its a pretty good, well-rounded bar that earns its place in any night out.

Good bar but its a little open and "echo-y." The fact that they serve Absinth is definitely a plus though! The echo-iness really only becomes an issue when a band is playing because the sound gets a little muddy unless youre situated just right. That being said, its nice that you can order food from Brooklyn (same owners?) and even if you miss Brooklyns official hours, they keep the slice window open late.

Went there last night and had the great misfortune of having to endure the WORST bartending of my life. Slow, Slow, Slow. Otherwise had a fine time. Specialty drinks were good. But the girl who served us had no business being behind the bar. Ten minutes for a margarita and when it came she apologized and said the delay was because she "had never made one before"!! Teeth grinding incompetence.

Was assaulted by a woman whose child had gone wild in the bar! Will never go back and would not recommend this dump to anyone, college or otherwise! Management is none existent! No one claims to be the manager! Should have called the police, yes it was that bad! What a dump! We will NEVER go back! What a dump!

Its seemed like there was a bar for the young professional crowd missing on 4th. This is now the place. More of a chill out and socialize bar. Higher end feel, great bartenders and upscale drinks. Also a plus that you can have your dinner (or snacks) delivered from Brooklyn pizza next door!

This place is mostly great. I love hanging out there during the day, staying out of the heat, getting work done. The $1 coffee is organic and great. The staff is friendly and the decor beautiful.
