We play this course on a regular basis and have always found the staff to be friendly and accommodating to our needs. They handle our clubs like they were theirs and treat everyone with the utmost respect from little ones to older players. The dining facility is well kept and the food is good. I have yet to have, nor expect to have any negative issues or comments about El Rio. If you want a nice peaceful, friendly and fun course, then here it is.

El Rio is not one of my favorite courses. El Rio is a city course surrounded by an urban landscape with an unremarkable layout. It is in fair condition this time of year (winter) with over-seeded tees and greens in good condition. The fairways were not in great shape The sand/dirt traps were poor. The length is reasonable for average golfers and the are a number of interesting holes.

Worst experience ever. I came to El Rio golf course today hopping to get a few holes in before going out of town. The older woman at the counter was really rude and disrespectful all I ask for put a couple beers and she looked at me like I was an idiot I had to repeat what I wanted to her three times before she got it. I will not return to this golf course again

Course was in decent shape but there were 3 golf clubs that made things very slow. Got irritated half way through the round because the pace was too slow. Waited 25 minutes on 1 par 3.

Over crowded it took us six plus hours to get through the corse at a few of the tees I counted over twelve people waiting to drive

Nice open fairways. No desert out of bounds like everywhere else in Tucson, so I didnt lose as many golf balls.

Fun course to play during vacation. Bunkers are a little short on sand. Greens roll true, pretty quick.

No. driving range normal, when I when. It was just opens to children
