One of the skanky dancers recommended this place for my sisters bachelorette party. Not being very big club goers the 10 of us in the party got a private booth and bottle service so that we could have a place to visit each other (we had people in from out of town). We tried screaming conversations at each other in between telling random people to get the hell out of our booth. Security was nonexistent at this point. Not long after getting there I had to escort a friend outside to her ride and when I got back there were two skanks on our pole in our booth. The other girls told me to ask them to leave (since I was the maid-of-honor). I politely tapped each and asked them to leave. The one scurried off, but the other, well call her LQueesha, started cussing me out demanded to know where her shoes were. Seeing as I had just gotten back into the club and had no clue about her missing shoes, I told her she had to go. She grabbed my hair and the other girls in our party jumped on her. Then LQueeshas boyfriend starts fighting the security guards. They were finally escorted outside and we went to the bar to get more drinks. About 5 minutes later LQueesha was back screaming about her shoes. I told her (again) that I didnt have her shoes and I started dancing. She didnt like that so she sucker punched me in the eye. Once again all the girls jumped on her and the security guards took us all outside. Youd think the club would have kicked her out (again) since we spent more money there then that Oakland hood rat wannabe makes in food stamps in a month, but no, they are used to fights and just follow "protocol". I had a shiner for my sisters wedding. Now we all have a story of how we inadvertently went slummin, and she got to go back home and narrow down the list of baby daddies for her next paternity test. We are a pretty classy group of girls and had no intention of getting into trouble. My own mom was there with us, and the grooms mom told us later that she almost got into a fight on the other side of the club because she accidentally bumped into a girl on a shoulder to shoulder packed dance floor. My sister looked up School of Rock and found out it was formally known as The Cherry Pit & Lounge, and those reviews are even worse than these. This place is sleazy and ghetto. It wont be long before they change their name again and try to "revamp" the place, but it will always draw the same trash. Learn from our mistake and run, dont walk, in the opposite direction of School of Rock!

As many people have mentioned, theres a cover charge. Thats the first problem. This place doesnt warrant one. I went with a group of about 25 people, and when we got inside the place was empty but for one group of guys in a booth. It featured no decor that had anything to do with rock, nor were they playing rock music. With the dark walls and floor and all of the poles at the booths, it kind of just looked like a pricy strip club. Since there were so many of us, we just started dancing without worrying about how dead the place seemed. But then the trouble started. One of my contact lenses was really dried out and had been giving my right eye trouble all night. I asked one of the bouncers stationed outside the bathroom if anyone working at the club had eye drops or contact solution (knowing that the answer would be no, but hoping anyway). They didnt have any, so I went to the bathroom and tried to take it out. If anyone reading this has contacts, you know what happens when theyre super dry. They stick to your eye. So my contact was stuck, I had no case to put it in if I did get it out, so I splashed some water in my eye and gave up. When I left the bathroom, I had my right eye squinted shut because the lense was so uncomfortable. My right eye is my dominant one, so seeing was a bit difficult. And thats when the bouncer kicked me out. "You need to go home." "What?" I was taken aback. "Youre stumbling too much." "My contacts are dried out. I already said-" "No. Youre drunk. Lets go." "I need to get my stuff-" But he and another bouncer just started shoving me. First of all, I am a 57", 120 lb female. It does not require two grown men shoving me along to remove me from an establishment. I wasnt even given the opportunity to go get my purse, which Id left with my friends. The bouncers kept shoving and I was just able to shout to one of my group in passing that I was being thrown out and needed her to bring me my things before I walked home in tears. Thanks for the great night, School of Rock.

Used to be a lot of fun until they got new management late 2016. Now it is mostly empty on weekends for the 21+ crowd. VIP area always closed, no more Go Go dancers, they made it too bright in there with the added lights I noticed it makes it less likely for people to want to dance, the bathrooms are always filthy, drinks are just as pricey as before but in smaller sizes. The music is good but they really need to do something about everything else and quick. New management already lost a lot of their "regulars." Without adjustment, this place will surely close soon due to the major loss of customers. Done paying to get into this spot until then.

HA! what a joke. This club wont be around long. If I could give it a NEGATIVE score I would. New management SUCKS. They got rid of the old bartenders, and the large cups the bar used to have. Now they give you watered down drinks in tiny cups. The new security hits on girls rather than do their job. Always vomit on the bathroom floors in the ONE stall that does work since the others are broken. They got rid of the gogo dancers and there is ALWAYS a brawl breaking out. Its not safe, its not fun, such a waste of money. Such a dump!!!!! Do NOT waste your money or time on this disgusting place.

I didn't have a horrible time there but I'm so over bouncers trying to ruin things. They forget people are there to have a good time. They need to chill out and only interfere when needed. Don't go looking for trouble. And dont tell someone that you are going to kick them out for just standing in front of the stage doing nothing wrong. The only way I will ever go back there is if they have someone play there I like or feed me free drinks like they normally do. But even then, I drink and run and go to bars that are laid back and a good time.

3 day weekend and this club is not open. UNIVERSITY STUDENTS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET AND NO CLUBS OPEN ON A 3 DAY WEEKEND???... wow. This place gets a bad review [would get a -number if I could give one] because 1. ITS NOT OPEN ON A 3 DAY WEEKEND! 2. All the reviews about this place here tell you how sucky it is and THESE are reviews of a few...most would not leave one even. and 3. I live in Tempe, walked around on the weekend and this city sucks...and places like this make it worse...
