I have been coming to this theater since Star Wars Episode 7 came out, and whenever a movie I like is available in Imax or Imax 3d, I have to come here because it is the closest Imax to Romney, WV where I live. The staff is always courteous, and it also has a grill so they offer more than just the standard popcorn and candy options, like chicken, fries, pizza, hot dogs. The food is also properly cooked, and the chicken is real meat. If your going to order something you might want to arrive 5 minutes earlier than normal. They also have alchoholic beverages available but you obviously camt leave the theater with it (Drinking and driving IS NOT COOL). Now if they add wings that would be heavenly. The condition of the theater rooms I have been in is always clean and smells nice and the seats are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in, anywhere. The cup holders are actually good enough to fit the jumbo size cups they have, without more than half the cup sticking out so it wont fall over. The parking garage is a bit away from the entrance, which is inconvenient on days when the elements are strong. Also if your at an early morning showing they wont let you in until their normal opening time, making you stay in the elements, freezing or getting soaked. So, bring an umbrella or thick coat if its that time of year just in case. There also isnt any internal seating for those that are waiting to be let down the theater hallways, but there is plenty of seats down those hallways, all you have to do is ask. Also if its a big release, come 30 to 45 minutes sooner to get the good seats.

For several years now, Regal Brambleton has been our go-to movie theater, with IMAX and 3-D, clean, with good food and good seats. Most recently, we went to see what we hoped would be a visually stunning movie in 3-D, Everest. I was surprised to see that the 3-D screen was extremely dark, fading to even deeper darkness on the sides of the screen. The image was so dark that even brilliant daylight scenes (e.g. broad daylight in snowy mountains) seemed shaded like twilight, with strongly muted color. In most scenes, major features such as actors faces had no subtlety in shading (light or black), and in many cases seemed to appear as silhouettes. Strangely, at many times, the resolution of the image seemed coarse and grainy, almost like when I watch old non-HD shows on my HD TV at home. It required tangible effort to watch the movie, consciously peering into the darkness in an effort to see what was going on -- even during daylight scenes. I complained twice at the beginning of the movie. Both times I was assured they would have someone try to fix it. There was no improvement, and no follow up. There was no indication the second time I complained that any action had even been attempted after my first complaint. There didnt seem to be anyone in charge. With a fine HD TV and sound system at home, one of the main reasons we venture out to a movie theater is to see movies with strong visual effect on a bigger, better screen. After this experience, we will be looking for this experience at a different theater.

Went to matinee with my husband to see Captain America: Cival War. I dont usually go to this theater because its not the closest one to our home. But I was already at the plaza, having completed the Loudoun Lyme Disease 2016 5k, my husband met me at the Brew Pub next door where we had lunch before going to the theater. *Sunday matinee time wasnt overly busy. We were able to get our tickets, get into the movie before previews were done and had our pick of good seats. The theater was clean. The employees who assisted us were friendly and helpful. It was nice that the theater we were in had a couple of restrooms just outside of it, my husband didnt have to miss much of the movie. The seats didnt recline which was fine. They did rock and were a comfortable size. *Id give it 5 stars if the parking garage was more convenient to the theater. When its raining, you have to get wet going between the garage and the theater entrance. A couple of the theaters have exits that go to one or the other garage but thats only a plus if youre parked on the first floor and near that particular theater. It doesnt help when its raining and/or winter weather and you have to go all the way around through the elements before entering.

I work for an autism center which has a weekly movie outing. We unfortunately made the mistake of coming here. First at the box office I asked if the movie (Fantastic Beast) was full cause 3 of my individual needed the handicapped area (1 in a wheel chair). The managers response was "IDK but its first come first serve" so he couldnt tell. Obviously an appropriate response but the reason I asked was to see if we would be better off in another movie, he didnt have to be smart about it. Then, of course, I wanted to buy some pop corn for my group of 10. I tried to use my Regal Card for the discount and was told I couldnt use it multiple times, so I asked to return ONE of my 10 tickets and then buy it again seperately, but manager declined repeatedly like it was impossible. I ended up paying extra so the line could move and so that I wouldnt make an even bigger scene arguing with the manager who doesnt seem to care about my autistic friends who look forward to going out into the community for a movie outing. Movie and seats were good, the end. True story.

Worst theater experience ever! The audio in studio 4 is horrible and they had it turned up loud to compensate. I went and spoke to someone and informed them it was to loud and something was wrong with the center channel speaker. The response I received was amazing! They guy said, “Oh it’s to loud” like I was to old! Then he said, “Oh your in studio 4, yes there is something wrong with the audio, I can turn it down a little and maybe that will help.”I doubt they turned it down. It was ear piercing to say the least! Let’s talk about how much trash was in the theater from one of the previous shows. No one was in studio4 to watch the movie we went to see;and, due to the trash we could hardly find a seat! The popcorn was good and the hosts were friendly. I will not go back to this theater.

I mean what can you really expect from a movie theatre? Actually, I take that back. This had to have been the worst experience ever. Never returning to this theatre. There are much better theatres in the area. Trash. Oh and if you need the managers for anything, dont rely on them for help. If something is disturbing you during your movie just expect the managers to ignore your request for help. Dont even waste your money on the snacks in the theatre when you can get away with bringing your own like the girls next to me and their extremely loud to go containers.

First time around the area, and stayed at a hotel nearby. I called here 5mins before closing and asked about buying a movie ticket, so they said that I had to be there within 5mins to buy a ticket. I actually made it 15mins later lol (+10 mins) and came to find out that they were waiting for me to close!! Anyway, as I once worked at a Regal theater near Richmond, VA, this theater was pretty neat, staff seemed ready and aware. Overall, I had a nice experience here. And No, they didnt pay me for this lol.
