Best part of this theater is it offers IMAX with stadium seating. Was a little confused at first with no box office to pick up pre-purchase tickets. Tried to get them a kiosk until I saw a sign to get them at concession stand... I guess it is their way of tricking you into buying more, even if you didnt want food ("well, since I am already here"). Also be careful on slow days because they pop and bag the popcorn in advance and store it in a "warming box" which can become very stale if it sits too long before you buy it. Its not bad if busy and the popcorn is being replaced quickly. But if it is slow, be sure to ask for a fresh bag. Some staff are very friendly and helpful. Others are just wanting a paycheck and behave as if you are a nuisance. You can buy beer at a separate concession. However, the limited selection of savory food (or meal-like menu items) keeps me from buying alcohol for a movie.

Went and seen Dracula. The seats were comfortable but the theater was a lil dirty. The floor was sticky. Staff was 50/50 like the crack head ticket taker. It took literary 5min for her to forget me and I went on a Thursday afternoon there was literally 6 customers including my girlfriend and me. But the concession stand girl was nice even the cleaning lady who stopped me cause her co worker was to drugged up to even walk to me to see my tickets.(was only 50ft away and already passed her with popcorn and soda.) O and the arcade sucked not even a decent crane machine. Who wants to play the rubber duck crane machine.(hehe I did like 4x) but sonds was good seats are good when theres no trash in the way and staff is 50/50.

Usually a good experience, but yesterday was not so much. First question is: Who removes a film like "Skull Island" from the IMAX theater so "Beauty and the Beast" can be seen in IMAX? ...seriously? Maybe you have no control over that, but yikes... Aside from that random whiny complaint/question, the theater was a mess, people were using their cell phones throughout the entire film, the volume of the movie was lower than usual, and the ladies room had literally ZERO toilet tissue in any of the stalls. Ive never seen that anywhere in my life. What happened? Disappointed. Really disappointed. My $5.00 coldish beer and the nice guy serving it was the best part of my logistical experience yesterday.

I ordered tickets online to see King Kong at 430pm. When I arrived at the theater they were "closed". I checked the website and there were no notification that the theater will be closed. After standing outside for 15 minutes and see the workers inside, someone finally came to the door to notify us that the theater will open at 5pm. After speaking with the manager, he stated that they would have eventually notified me that the theater was closed instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. I did give the theater 2 stars for showing good movies. I would not recommend this theater to anyone!

The seats are great, the staff is ok and it has always been clean when I have gone there. The self checkout at the kiosk takes some getting use to at first, but you can purchase the tickets at the concession stand if needed. I have never see a line more then 2 people deep at the kiosk for tickets, it moves very quick. I love that when you are seated and someone walks in front of you, you dont have to contort your body to make space for them to walk by. There is that much leg room. I gave it 4 stars because they dont serve Coke products. I really dislike the taste of Pepsi.

I so enjoy going to the Penn Cinema movie theater. I enjoy the convenience of having a downtown theater, the location is good with nearby stores, baseball stadium, restaurants/brewery, outdoor beer garden, ice cream , art, ice skating and other fun and educational activities for children and famlies. The Penn Cinema provides very comfortable seating with quick in/out access to each movie rooms, which are all located on one floor and the food prices are reasonable. A great place to enjoy a movie and get your walk on.

Great screens but they clearly have terrible management. I enjoy going to the movies and having a drink and some food while there. Youd think, with their prices, they could find a way to employ enough concession employees to keep the lines down. The last three times Ive been there Ive waited in line for over 20 minutes as I watched people bulk the line from frustration. One other note Ive asked at least 5 separate times for there rewards card, they never seem to have any available. Always out of stock.

The theater was filthy dirty, the service was poor, I complained about unsupervised young children (about 6/7 years of age) to a staff member and nothing was done. Popcorn was also cold, old and nasty. My family had to watch our movie with 2 children running around in the row in front of us playing on their phones with the flashlights on. My family of 8 that enjoyed the movie but will never waste money and this disgusting movie complex again.

Bad area felt like I might get carjacked or Jump by crackheads. Theater was a bit run down and old movie theater seats were outdated. No Reclining seats with leg rests and trays for snacks. The only reason it got two stars instead of one was the staff was very professional and helpful courteous smiling. It was very unexpected walking into the theater and then having the staff be such a contradiction to what the theater is.

On the way back from Philadelphia to DC, my wife and I stopped here because it was right off of highway 95 S. The theater is on the riverfront (hence the name) and there is a lot of cool development going on nearby so this place will be even cooler in a few years. The theater itself is clean and offers a lot of different time slots to see your favorite movie. I recommend going here if youre in the area!

Nice and clean theater. Service is great. Didnt know they sold beers inside. I went here the latest time for a monthly charity event, which is totally cool that they do. They show a cult classic and have a local brewery serve samples and a portion of the proceeds go to the charity of choice of the brewer. Will return, even though there are legit 3 theaters closer to me.

There was a lot of confusion about the seats which is fine because people werent in there assigned seat... my problem is that the officer that came to help really made the situation worse and he had an attitude... when he got smart with me and my cousin, that was the last straw... we ended up missing about 20 mins of the movie due to this confusion so we got a refund

I enjoyed my time here. It was very clean and Steady moving. I went to an IMAX Movie. The Surround Sound was great! Very Loud! You could hear a feather fall. I did expect the seats to be better then what they were but I guess the movie and sound quality over threw that. I do plan on going back next go around. But may just try a a standard movie instead of an IMAX
