Where do I start.... First, just getting there is sketchy, you basically drive through an unmarked industrial parking lot to a random building. The building was locked & no one was there when we showed up. 5 minutes before our start time a single employee showed up with her two children and she let us in. Ive done room escapes with 4 other companies. Typically the clues and pieces have symbols or things on them indicating they somehow go together, then you have to figure out how to solve the puzzle. There was no such indication on any of the clues in this room. There was no way to know when things went together. There was also no way to know that while some keys only worked on a single lock other keys worked for 2 or even 4 locks so youre looking for a key to the next lock but you already had it and didnt know. There was an iPad in the room that was supposed to tell us our remaining time as well as tell us clues as needed. It was frozen showing the finish time of the last group until the last 30 seconds we were in the room so we never knew how much time we had remaining. They tell you before you start that you can ask for up to 3 clues if you get stuck. We never asked for a single clue but the employee kept talking to us over the intercom to point us in the right direction. It made us feel like we werent doing it on our own. But honestly I dont know how well we would have done on our own because there was no way to tell what pieces went together. Also, there was loud, annoying music playing the entire time. I understand that the music was to make us feel like we were "at the carnival" but it was so loud it made it hard to hear each other or the employee talking over the intercom. After all the negative, why 2 stars? The employee was very friendly and we still had fun.

Room was interesting and challenging. However there were a few broken items that were needed to solve puzzles. There was a net that was not catching the balls to return them to us which cost us additional time to get to the next step. We were able to get through that part but slower. The worst broken props were the magnets which were composed of two pieces each, a knob and a larger magnetin piece. The magnetic piece had fallen off of both of the knobs, and the one was missing entirely. We could tell this because the magnetic piece had dried glue on the one side. This made the force of the pieces not strong enough to solve the puzzle. We mentioned this out loud and were given assistance after having spent a good amount of time on that piece. I showed the magnets to the woman who had been giving clues when we exited the room, but she simply said they still hold together. This was true, but the pieces holding together on their own was not the same as the pieces functioning properly for the puzzle. I felt that this should have been acknowledged and additional time given due to the broken props.

Went with a bunch of friends today. This was my first escape the room and I can honestly say it surpassed any and all expectations I had. The staff were very friendly and good at providing hints when needed. The room itself (I was in the abandoned circus) was amazing. Perfect ambiance and so many puzzles that you will most likely spend your entire hour (or very close to it) attempting to get out. The puzzles werent cheap and gimmicky either. They were well thought out and engaging. Ambiance was perfect and the room also tells a pretty creative story for those who listen and read all the little notes hidden throughout. Highly recommend.

Did Tesla challenge. Very good game. Staff was very good. Have to delete one star for some broken items. That said, would recommend it.
