This is the best golf course I have ever played for the price. If you are looking for a really great amazing kept golf course than keep looking. If you want a reasonably priced course that is a bit challenging to hone your skills, this is the place. If you book online you can get a twilight rate of 18 holes with a cart for around $21, which is incredible. The fairways are pretty large on this course but there are some really challenging holes with multiple water hazards. The greens are well kept but the rough is pretty deep. My only complaint would be the lack of yard markers as well as the signs being in bad shape and inaccurate. I would still highly recommend this place to anyone who is not a pro golfer. Side note: The staff is really friendly, which seems to be increasingly difficult to find at clubs nowadays.

What Chapel Hill lacks in length, it makes up for in narrowness and necessity for good shot placement. Holes like the fourth, fifth, and seventh require attention to hazards that make common-length drives almost impossible. The forward slopes of some greens, including those of the sixteenth and eighteenth, demand shots that attack the pin, and winding up above the pin on a handful of holes can easily lead to three-putts or more. Additionally, the second, eighth, and eleventh hole can spell disaster without adherence to shot-shaping. Overall, Chapel Hills rough cart paths and slightly uneven tee-boxes pale in comparison to the effort the staff put forth to maintain the pure green fairways and well-raked bunkers, to name a few.

Just got done playing this course, and its a shame how it is taken care of. It used to be a nice course, but over the last couple of years it has gone down hill. Not worth the money you will spend. Hole markers have bullet holes in them, cart paths are not bad - they are terrible! Would not recommend this course to anyone who likes to play Golf. If you are a beginner, then its ok to play. Too bad, I usually like playing on any course.

This could be the worst kept course in berks county. The entire course is filled with dandelions and crab grass. The tee boxes are full of cigarette butts and broken tees. There are some challenging holes, but they just dont take care of them. Poor yardage markers and hole signs that are rotting away.

It is a challenging course and greens are kept fairly nice but cart paths are horrible and distance markers and hole markers are terrible, it is hard to figure out where the next hole is and once you get to it it is not clearly labeled at all. Wont be a regular place I choose to play.

Complete dump. Owner and golf pro are unprofessional and dont care about the customers. They are out playing in fivesomes and playing music in the cart while people are trying to tee off. This is why I join private country clubs. That bs doesnt happen.

I have played Chapel Hill MANY times and enjoyed each time. Course is in great shape with the greens maintained beautifully. Not real long, but shots must be thought out before hitting.

Some of the holes can be a little soggy especialy in the spring. Layout makes you think about club selection on some of the tees.

The bar here is a great place to stop after a long drive on 422! I do not golf but its relaxing inside with flat-screen TVs

Nice course for the price. Dog legs are fun and challenging.
