Well, the greens are really good. Very strange front 9. If you are not experienced, there is no way to play this 9. No markings or info on distance to hit the strange shots expected. IE, on #5, there is a 120 degree "dogleg" right with woods at the end of the turn, but nothing to say how far out the dogleg goes. We figured it must be about 150 yds, halving the distance....wrong. That left us shots through the woods to try to get there. The front 9 is just weird. Back 9 is better but #18 is just like the front. About 6-7 holes on the back were normal. So, other than the greens, no reason to play here.

At $26 to walk its a great deal. I play on weekday mornings and its never crowed at all. Greens play fast and there is bent grass throughout the course. Sand traps are not playable. There are more than a handful of holes that are very unique and demand some great shots if you play from the tips. I truly believe that this course offers your best bang for your buck. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are not in perfect shape, but if you want that go spend another $100 and play down the street at Bulle Rock.

Played course 5/3/2014 and course condition was awful. More weeds than grass on the fairways. Greens are full of crab grass and bare spots filled with sand. Sand traps are dirt. Saddest part is that the course layout is really interesting with some unique holes but the course condition doesnt allow for an enjoyable experience. The hole markers havent been painted in a decade. Even the flags are tattered and look like rags. And at $45 it was a total loss. Very disappointing. Not worth your time.

Always a fun time at this course. Its a fun little course that is not too hard but has some tricky holes. If youre looking for a pristine course.. Bulle Rock is right down the road.. For someone who doesnt have Bulle Rock funds.. youre at the right place. Fun course with a lot of replay value. Rarely crowded, great food, good staff, rich history.
