The four of us went there for the first time, on a beautiful warm July evening. We arrived around 5:30, and the indoor and outdoor restaurants were both filled to capacity, and since we did not have reservations we were told that the wait time was an hour and a half. We passed the time by getting drinks at the bar and exploring the grounds- watching people play beanbags and giant checkers and other outdoor games; we also spent time sitting in the large adirondack style chairs around the fire pits. When our pager finally buzzed, we were taken to our table on the outdoor deck. We ordered a few appetizers for the table, and to save time we also ordered the main courses as well. About 10-15 minutes later, our food arrived. All of it, at the same time. Apparently our waiter thought we wanted the appetizers served with the main courses. We assured him it was no problem, since we were really hungry, and we dug in. Appetizers: 2 orders of Drunken clams were excellent. Meat and cheese board was very good, with a wide variety to choose from. Parmesan shrimp and crab dip was good. Main courses: Hamburger was juicy and cooked to order, as requested. Penne Pesto was excellent, with fresh basil flavor. Cajun chicken alfredo was good, with not a lot of heat. Crab Macaroni and cheese was OhMyGod good with Old Bay bread crumbs baked on top and lots of real cheese. Old bay french fries were very good with lots of Old Bay seasoning. Overall, it was very busy, and the waitstaff were attentive and worked to keep us happy. Everyone was friendly, and it was a great experience. We will definitely return for another great summer evening with friends. We almost did not try this place because of the negative reviews, but it was such a great destination for a motorcycle ride that we figured it was worth a try anyway. We are glad we came!

First let me say that prior to tonight, we loved slope side ! Normally, we have the best times because the ambience, service, food, and drinks are great. Tonight, a Sunday, we got there at six. The first thing the guy at desk asked me after making me wait at least five minutes before even acknowledging my presence is did I call ahead. I thought that was odd in that it didnt appear that busy (inside was practically empty and now all the outdoor tables were filled). Well without "call ahead" (which for as many times as we had been to slope side I had never heard of), it would be a thirty minute wait. We had two two year old boys in our party but decided to wait. After thirty minutes, we asked where we stood for getting a table. The same guy told us we were up "second" and should have a table in five mnutes. After another twenty minutes, my daughter inquired again after stressing we had little ones. This time there were two girls at the hostess station and they sat us immediately at a large banquet table (we had 5 in our party) even though we didnt have the "required" number. All that time, and the table had been open! There were other parties too without the required number who had come in after us (may have on call ahead) but what the heck? Then they gave us a waitress from another farther away section - she was as good as she could have been but it was difficult when she was far away. Food was good. Service mediocre. The guy who greeted us was much more interested in talking to his friends than in apologizing for our wait time. I complained to the hostess on our way out but she could have cared less. Dont know if we will come back in near future.

I heard mixed reviews about Slopeslide but decided we should try it for ourselves. The only good thing was the great view and a great bottle of wine although that was.so overpriced. thankfully it was half price Wednesdays. The waitress should be fired. She could have made so much money but she was never around. It took 20 minutes for her to come to us the first time.she bright our bottle of wine... poured out the first first glass...forgot our water and said she would be right back...another 10 minutes went by before she came back. We ordered appetizers. 3o minutes later we got the apps...clams were cold. Onion rings werent bad. The waitress finally walked by....after all this time I finally was able to get her attention and asked if she could take our dinner order now. ..20 minutes later she walks by and says oh your food should be out soon. For the next 30 minutes she walked everywhere but near our table. Its now been 2 hours that we have been here. She finally brought our food and we said we really dont want it anymore but we would like to talk to the manager. The steak I ordered was barely warm btw. She left came back and said he was too busy to talk to us. But he took the meals off your check. We were there for 2 hours waiting and he was too busy to talk to unhappy customer...wow. The 2 stars were for the view...which in all gonesty should get 5 but that would be deceptive to people that read these reviews for a honest opinion.

While visiting Slopeside Pub & Grill, you are bound to experience a wonderful variety of different viewpoints that Blue Mountain have to offer. You get to see the breathtaking view from the top of the mountain while dining by a relaxing fire. You are free to roam around the skiing and biking trails alongside of the restaurant. They have very talented bands play on the weekends and they will even sing happy birthday to you! Prices vary from item to item, and their menus arent necessarily a wide selection, but mostly anything you choose will be substantially above the rest. I would definitely recommend getting on of their burgers as they are really juicy and full of flavor. I wouldnt recommend the pulled pork since I heard was pretty disappointing. I would say the food would stand at 4 stars, but the different activities you have access to compensate pretty well for any of the dining concerns. They have giant floor checkers, fire pits that seat 8-10 people, croquet, volleyball, tabletop fire pits, etc, etc. You can visit to enjoy a couple mixed drinks by the fire, or eat with your whole family and enjoy the view! It is definitely one of the most fascinating places Ive visited, and I would highly suggest this as a Friday night place of interest.

Have been a Blue Mountain customer for Skiing for over 2 decades and have visited the Slopeside many times since moving about 10 minutes away a year ago until today. Called ahead to see if there was a wait at all or to make a reservation but was told by a gentleman that we could walk right in or maybe only wait a few minutes for a table to be prepared. So we headed there and when we got to the hostess she said the wait was at least 35 minutes so I just simply told her what I was told only 10 minutes before and she immediately had an attitude pointed towards the phone saying the she heard the whole conversation and that I was lying. My wife and I were completely shocked. Maybe someone else called and was told that but she should never assume it was me. We walked right out. I understand that a restaurant can get busy at any time all she needed to say was sorry or even just said that a rush came in! We would have gladly waited without an issue. I have been in customer service for over 10 years and would instantly lose my job if I treated a customer that way. Sorry to say my family wont be back for food or skiing and many will hear of this experience. From reading other reviews apparently this isnt the first time this has happened.
