I only get here about twice a year it seems and it never lets me down. This is the best club in the area if you enjoy loud, raucous music and rubbing shoulders with the freaks and weirdos of Wilmington and Philadelphia. On my last visit I got to watch Polterchrist tear through a blistering set, but on Asylum nights youll get to hear industrial acts and if youre really lucky, youll go on a night when Pig or Combichrist or any of dozens of other big name acts are playing. Prices are right in line for any neighborhood bar, music is awesome and the atmosphere is exactly my kind of fun.

Comedy comes at a price. Open mic was the final nail in the this coffin of the dying show put on August 26th. Literally everyone was driven outside like an exorcism was performed. One comedian cracked that he felt like he was at an "AA meeting." Stating a fact isnt a joke. The bar is under renovation but you cannot escape an overwhelming foul odor. I was not surprised at the lack of audience for the the performance. Mojo 13 needs a revamp on talent and the overall structure.

I called and asked a question regarding an upcoming event and the woman on the phone was extremely rude, knew nothing regarding the schedule and rushed me off the phone. I have been trying to get in touch with an event coordinator to clear some things up so I can purchase tickets but noone has helped. disappointed.

Bar XIII is amazing! Since the new owner took over, the place has a whole new look and feel! They have live music that includes metal, industrial, punk, and recently they added country to that list. The variety of things they have going on there really offers something for everyone.

This place is a real niche joint. Industrial/goth thursdays, cabarets, and other fun activities. Its overall setting and decor is dark, a coffin table, tentacle statues and demons painted on the wall has a very lovecroftian feel.

THE HALLOWEEN PARTY WAS GREAT. BEST COSTUMES WAS THE GUY WHO CAME AS THE DUDE. AND THE GUY DRESSED AS THE POPE. RICK WAS THE NICEST PERSON, MET HIM WHILE LEAVING THE BAR.ONE GREAT PLACE TO HAVE FUN. WILL COME BACK AGAIN.

Live music (almost) every night. A great venue, with a large bar that is close enough to hear and see the show, but far enough to hear the people youre trying to talk to too. Very reasonably priced drinks to boot.

Saw Municipal Waste and Death Angel at Mojo, both times I had a great time, nice staff, cheap drinks, and very close to the bands. Ill be returning. Thumbs Up!
