Very nicely done bike/walking trail that follows the susquehanna river for 5 miles, and ends just below safe harbor dam. Wonderful views, with many stops along the way. There are porta potties about midway along the trail, but not at the end. The trail has no shading, so in the afternoon on a sunny day, it can get very warm. On hot summer days, better to go in the early am, or possibly later pm. Its an easy ride (very flat), and very scenic.

5 miles long flat and extremely wide trail, great for a hike or bike ride that it is used for quite a bit. You have a view of the river the entire walk also has two porta potties at trailhead and a few park benches along the way if you need to rest.

The trail is an excellent bicycle ride the Cliffs offer shade in the morning. There are bald eagles and wild life around and beautiful scenic views of the river. I just wish that they would connect the two Trails by fixing the bridge

Its A 5 Mile Walk & Bike Down the Safe Harbor Dam. Its Worth The View. There are Bathrooms & Mountain Water. A friend & I Biked from Marietta to the Trail. It was worth the trip. I did 25 miles. But my friend did 45 miles.

Great trail if you dont find a difficult climb at the beginning. Decent length and the sights make it worth the effort. Not a great trail for small children though because of the steep initial trail.

Great place to walk or ride bikes along the river. Five miles from trail head to the dam. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches along the way to relax and take in the views of the river.

There are 2 trails you can start here. Turkey Hill is a short but high elevation hike up to the windmills and the Rail Trail. both are solid experiences depending what you are going for.

A little challenging, the top of the trail puts you a few hundred feet from the base of the wind mills.

After walking only about a mile on the trail we found a few ticks on our dog. Beware
