No Pumpkins!!!!! Do not be fooled by the display cart up front full of large healthy orange pumpkins as they do not have any left. We had been here a few years in a row and had lots of fun. The admission price was fair and we picked several beautiful pumpkins. That was not the case this year. After paying $12.50 a person for kids and adults a whopping $50.00 for our small family of four. This price has been raised since last year. I asked how much are the pumpkins and was told .50 cent a pound which seemed fair. No one told us they didnt have any pumpkins We did notice there were no pumpkins up front to buy but there usually were in years past for those not wanting to pick their own. We went on the hay mountain and the big bounce thing which were fun and unchanged from previous years. My youngest was excited to do the water pumps for the duck to slide back and forth. This was the first of many broken things we found. There were only 5 pumps with 1 broken and 4 others removed completely. One of the pairs wasnt level and the ducks would get stuck in the middle. Two of the slides had no stops on the end and the ducks would fall off the end. This just seems like they didnt care to upkeep this and the broken and missing pumps made for short turns and much assistance from adults to fish out the ducks from the basin or retrieve them stuck in the middle. Next was the peddle cars. Last time a few were broken this time it was more. They were there but did not work well or at all making it hard to have fun. We waited in line for about 25 mins just to get bottled water and it was not even cold. We really wanted lemonade but they ran out less then halfway through the day. We went to get on the hayride to the pumpkin patch and the line was at least 50 people long. The one tractor only held 12 people and the other maybe 20. We decided to walk to the pumpkin patch but after seeing a small track of very tiny pumpkins but mainly gords we were wondering if we were in the right place. We kept walking and walking and most of the area was overgrown with weeds and grass and the pumpkins were either diseased or very green. Some plants only had dead tiny pumpkins that never grew. We made it to a nicer area and every time we would see an orange pumpkin we would walk to it to find it busted and broken. There were so few plants in this area it was hard to believe it was a pumpkin patch at all. We all had some nice exercise but had a hard time explaining to the kids why there were no pumpkins to be had. We looked at the corn maze and the corn wasnt even 5 feet tall and dead looking even for dry stalks it looks pathetic. We just passed on that. There were other attractions but they all cost extra sans the bounce house. This place used to be great but I would not recommend it unless you have lots of small kids. They are free under four and would have fun with most of the stuff that has been upkept. I feel that they knew this season about the pumpkins and charged more for entry knowing people would not be paying for pumpkins. The face painter was great and reasonably priced. Btw there are at least 2 other places on the way to stop and get pumpkins. Beautiful pumpkins.

We (as a family) have had so much FUN up at GHFP!! Theres just so much to do ~ of course the 8 Acre Corn Maze is a straight up RIOT <-- n even BETTER at NIGHT, where its DARK n CrAzY n ScArY n FREAKY FUN! (n then theres the smaller corn maze for the little ones) We enjoyed the Hayrides & picking our own pumpkins! We understand that sometimes Mother Nature as different plans than the farmers that grow pumpkins/crops ~ so whether or not they were grown to full size at your Farm Park or placed in your field due to circumstances beyond your control, makes absolutely no difference to us :) All the kids n adults as well got to go out in the pumpkin field to pick n choose the perfect pumpkin We LOVED buying & cooking our own hot-dogs-on-sticks in the big fire pit & making our own smores was a gooey good time! Our grandchildren loved the Bounce house, the Pony rides, the BIG bales of hay they could jump around on etc. Theres Face Painting & her price is well worth what the children choose!! Pssst ~ word has it that this year (2013) has Zombie Survival Course Adventure!! OMGosh, we cant wait for this one!! Should be TONS of FUN!! Many thanks to David & Patsy Hand (owners) and all of their staff for making this one of our most Treasured Fall/Halloween Traditions! MANY, many thanks for making it affordable too! GHFP . . . you make Autumn Awesome! :)

We have been to Green Hand twice before and always had a blast. SO I didnt hesitate to purchase the groupon this year. Well, lets just say I paid $13 for my fiance and I to spend an hour driving to and from Gloucester, wait 30 minutes in line to get in, walk through a barely 3 foot tall corn "maze" and walk through a pumpkin field scattered with purchased pumpkins that still had stickers on them. I cant justify paying "per pound" for the same pumpkin I could buy at Walmart for $5. I know nature is out of their control. But be honest with customers, let them know the farm isnt operating at peak. Also, dont get greedy, keep commercialism out and let some places stay local and "mom and pop". Maybe next year will be better.

Very over priced! When we got there we had to wait in a line for about an hour just to get in. The corn maze was a complete joke!!! I am 511 and could see right over the "corn". I put it in quotations because they were old, fallen down what used to be stalks. People made their own paths, very run down! The food is also overpriced and not very good. We rode the hayride which takes you to a pumpkin patch that has no more pumpkins. Well they have some pumpkins, the small rotting ones. Overall very very disappointed! Will never be going back or suggesting it to anyone! Theyre website is very deceiving and glorified. Check out all the negative Facebook reviews before going here!

We have been coming here for years but will no longer be visiting Greenhand. We werent able to do anything except pick a pumpkin, and the selection was limited because most of them were broken. The hayride was also broken with a wheel that fell off the trailer. We were excited to try the new archery tag but after 15+ kids cut us in line, the attraction closed and nothing was said. It seems the farm cannot handle the crowds that it is now receiving, and customer service and attractions are suffering. Unfortunately, we will be finding a new place for our fall tradition.

We visited here with my daughters Girl Scout Troop #5003 and we had such a good time. The staff and owners were All friendly and upbeat. You must try the Cow ride, so much excitement and FUN. The pumpkin patch had beautiful pumpkins for you to choose from that you walked into the patch to get. ** The food was also Great. Smoked pulled pork, Homemade Mac&Cheese.... Large and privately owned and run.... nice place to visit and support.
