Only visited once and that was to see a friend who had just started working the bar, so my experience at Loch Nairn is limited. I am a biker and look it but didnt receive any issues regarding my attire. Not sure if there is a dress code there or if they were too afraid to say anything ;-) The bar area that I sat in was a tiny horseshoe shape; quite small for a golf club. Im not sure if theres a more spacious bar elsewhere but I doubt you could fit fifteen people at the bar itself. Service was speedy and prices fair and the venue itself is lovely. So not a bad trip. No complaints.

Normally this is a decent restaurant to go to. But, here is the "but", after a hideous interaction with the hostess and a more hideous interaction with the staff (which is inattentive, at best), I would strongly recommend that you seek a dinner elsewhere, unless you would like overcooked food and to be underserved. I contacted the owner about my abysmal experience and have yet (>20 days) to hear back from him. It looks like that the owner cares not to address issues in the Greathouse restaurant.

We had finished 18 holes of golf and stopped in for a quick bite at the clubhouse. The hostess was rude and insisted that it would be a minimum 30 minute wait, fine dining only, as if to convince us to leave. I understand that it is mothers day. I understand that it can get busy, but really please treat your patrons with more respect.

We found this place by accident and what a find..it was a place we will visit again. Food was great, staff was friendly and the golf course was excellent. I might mention that our waitress, Barb, was a sweetheart and loved her personality. She made our stay very pleasant and we will be back!

Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding at the Great House. Everything was perfect top to bottom! Great, attentive staff to delicious food. Sales staff (Barbara) was so helpful. Couldnt have asked for anything more!

Best golf club in the area. It has an old country club type feel, with tall trees and interesting holes. Reasonable prices, and a decent restaurant to grab a beer and a bite after your round.

Had an anniversary party there. The staff are very professional. The decor is excellent. Great place for a casual bite or just a beer at the bar.
