Read the post about trick holes. Huh? These are broad fairways and not terribly long holes (except for the par 3 15th). The par 5s are legitimate par 5s--but the longest is 540 from the back tees. There is one very straight par 4 (with a wide fairway) that is 400 yards long. 8 is challenging because at 370 the average golfer has to make a risk/reward calculation over a wide pond on the second shot. 16 is another risk/reward hole on the drive as to whether to lay up or try to carry into a ravine. 17 is tough because the drive is to a very narrow fairway and then a risk/reward shot over a creek right in front of the green. But, compared to any "championship" course, this is just an interesting course with maybe five holes where the margin for error is thin; and on 17, it is very thin.

Less than impressed. Ive golfed many courses in the area. 3 things bother me at this course. 1. The service is pathetic. Yes. Pathetic. Its the only course where Ive paid $5 for a cart deposit. What a joke. 2. The fairways are poorly kept. This has to be some sort of joke. 3. Can I go back to the cart deposit? Cmon man. Other than that I like the course. The management is horrible however and even though Im five minutes away I would never waste my money here and you shouldnt either. Find a good price on golf now and golf at one of the many other locations in the area.

had a nice round at this bucolic rambling golf course while visiting family just a short walk from the course. it is a park like experience and quite pleasant, conditions are far from manicured but good grass in the fairways challenging rough and smooth albeit slow greens. The lack of imaginagtion on the greens was kind of strange, I think almost all the greens were round and sloped back to front, one flag was right in the middle and looked like robin Hoods bullseye. Still a good time , good price and nice folks.

Cheap, but not worth the terrible conditions even for practice. Clover "fairways", sponge slow greens, Overgrown trees that block 50% of view to fairway from tee, dead trees rotting on several holes, terrible drainage, goose crap filled cesspool lakes, unsanitary snack bar, slow play, etc etc However, the carts work well.

Conditions are always the biggest problem here. The layout and mix of challenging and easy holes is great, but I dont get why there are patches of 6 inch tall grass in the fairways right next to a finely mowed area.

Friendly unassuming clubhouse. Lot of course for the money inexpensive and challenging. Great for beginner golfer as well as seasoned vets. 27 Holes total turf and greens could be a little better.

blue course is a great course for beginners very open as nd very forgiving. prices are reasonable and Val does a great job running the business

The course itself was fun but the sand pits had tall weeds and the fairways could use a mowing.

Played 9 on blue. No defined fairways, upkeep was decent. Easier course.
