We have been to the Iron Hill Brewery in Chestnut Hill. The beer is good. Last night we went to the Ardmore Iron Hill Brewery and the beer is still good. As to the food, after we left, we went to Wendys for a hamburger. Back to the Brewery, the wait staff was good and the manager very pleasant when we complained. We ordered the fish taco appetizer and if was an oversized oily tasting deep fried fish stick in a cold corn taco. The cold corn taco was the best part. The fish stick was awful, oily and fishy in the not-so-nice way, dressed in glop and something resembling cole slaw. I took one bite and a second to confirm. Someone needs to go back to taco academy. The deeply, very deeply fried, yams were mushy and were probably better than I thought but I was still tasting fish stick oil. My lady ordered the fish and chips so I thought there could be some salvation in her sharing. No help there. I have tasted real fish chips in Iceland, England and Maine, so I am realistic in not having overly high expectations, but the over cooked haddock was spit in the napkin bad. Listen up Iron Hill, you have a good wait staff, now how about some remedial work in the kitchen. One second, would we go back? They did comp us with a $10 card and deeply discounted the bill. Maybe, for a beer and a hamburger.

Went for a late lunch and was very disappointed. I have been to many Iron Hill Breweries and this one definitely did not meet standards. There were very few tables and plenty of workers. We sat for fifteen minutes before receiving menus. Then sat for another twenty before our order was taken. The food came out quickly and was good (the reason I gave two stars and not one) but the service was very poor. It took over another twenty minutes to get our check after we finished our food and our drinks were never refilled. The waiter most definitely favored other tables, serving them quickly and refilling their drinks numerous times. Will not come back.

The food here was terrible. I ordered calamri as an appetizers and it was heavy with salt. I had the penne pasta with shrimp as an entree. The sauce was more like a creamy soup lacking seasoning. The shrimp taste of old frozen shrimp and same with the broccoli. I literally just at the penne out of this mess while my dinner date who had ordered the same dish sent here back. She asked to have the crabcake sandwich and after taking one bite acknowledged that anything we would have gotten from here would be terrible.

A bit of a weird location for this Iron Hill as its below a planet fitness, and there isnt much of a view. I went here on a date we sat infront with the bar. Had a chicken sandwich and she had a chicken salad. ~$30 for both of us. Not too bad. If youre indecisive this is a safe bet and at least local beer.

As I work close by, we go here for lunch fairly often, usually with a large crew (6-12 people). The food has always been excellent and consistent, the service great, and if you like beer, there are always great choices. In all of our trips I cannot recall a single complaint.

Ordered an appetizer to share and two entrees. They served us salt with a food garnish. Everything from the main course to the sides and sauce tasted of heavy salt. We confronted the improbable irony of death by thirst in an air conditioned restaurant. Never again.

Good visit. Service great, Ashley. Drinks fine, my wife had a Manhattan. Beer ice cold, always delicious. Had a wheat and pilsner, both very good. Soups good, my wife had the broccoli, I had the seafood bisque. Shared the calamari, both had salads.

We went here for the first time tonight. The food and drink was excellent ! We had great table service as well. I had a Caesar salad followed by the meatloaf dinner. It was the best meatloaf I have ever eaten! We will be coming back!

This newly renovated location looks great! Big windows along the whole front wall let plenty of light into the bar area. The beer and food is as good as we would expect from an established restaurant chain. Excellent personal pizzas!

I ordered the pretzels as a late night snack. They are NOT pretzels. They are bagel sticks. Very disappointed. In Philly, if menu says pretzel, serve a pretzel. Had to take away a star. The service was great. The rest was fine.

Food and beer are fantastic! Theres usually a wait, but you can easily make a reservation online. Parking lot is small in front but you can easily park in the lot across the street. Totally worth the money and wait!

There is such a diverse menu, that there is something for everyone. We are particularly fond of the seafood pot pie and the beef stroganoff and sweet potatoes. The desserts are lovely.

Got take out, bartender super friendly and helpful:). Food was delicious! Calamari could have been served over greens, a bit expensive for portion. Cheese steak rolls great size!

Delicious food and drink. Quick and alert waiters. However depending on the time of day it can be very loud and at times difficult to hear the person sitting next to you.

Food is great here. Lots of room. A higher end casual chain restaurant with a large draft selection of beer they make themselves. The beer is very good for a brew pub.

The Ardmore Iron Hill is by far the best of the franchise that I have been to. The food and beer are great throughout but Ardmore adds that with exceptional service.
